The location of the Hotel was so Amazing. They have sports stadium just behind the hotel with walk access. The location near by Simpang 5 park. It’s a good place also for walking or hang out during your stay on Semarang. The design of the hotel is good for myself. Simple and felt like home. The staff good and friendly. It’s the most points. Just have disappointed with the water shower. It’s worse because they have 2 ways. The water not really strong. When we have shower, the water will be go anywhere. And it’s not saving water. 😂 I staying on room 1112. If you can fix the water shower. I will be happy. Saving water is important. Kind Regards, Adi

I'm so happy to stay in the first night at Holiday Inn Express Semarang in room 1206, that's why I decided to extend another one night here. The cleanliness is excellent. The only problem is only coming from 2 things. 1st coming from the smell from the towel. Before I used the smell was like mold. And 2nd the guy in the front office not so nice compared to the girls and the young guy (I forgot his name, but I think he is the older) maybe it because when I coming to the reception I was wearing short pants, flip flop, and mess shirt. As a person who also works in hospitality please do not classify people by how they look. The guest is always a guest. Don't show them any fake smiles. But overall I love the food, the cleanliness, the security system from the entrance is amazing.

I had the most pleasant experience here. the hotel staffs were nice, the room was clean and last but not least. as a moslem, we can pray without any worries

My first time staying in Simpang Lima Residence which was pretty good. Located nearby Simpang Lima junction, so you don't need to be worried when you're craving for some food. The staffs were friendly. Checkin and checkout time were quick. It's worth for the price too. They had a cool coffee, but I didn't try food and beverages yet. Maybe next time.

It has a small room, but cute🥰. The interior is great with Japanese style. This is the best cleanest hotel I've ever been staying for.

The accommodation is actually ok not that special, but the people, has made the stay excellent. Start from the security, receptionist, porter, waiters were nice, kind and polite, made me and my family feeling at home. Definitely will Come back for next visit. The Staff were the best among the similar hotel in Semarang! The facility was just perfect! The one thing that the management should really put it in consideration is the lift. It just has 1 lift, additional 1 lift would be great.

The view from double bed room is so stunning. We can see Merbabu mountain on the right side and Rawa Pening on the right side. The room itself is clean however the bed is too big for the room size (king bed). I think queen size bed will be more suitable. The breakfast is good and the menu is vary.

I had my perfect vacation here. The room was nice, clean, and cozy. Hot water worked normally as well. The food was so exquisite. perfect. Chef Adi, Chef Edo, and Chef Yogi are amazing. I'll spend my next vacation here, for sure.

the service from the staff so good, I booked the superior room with the description of twin bed but I have a special request of double bed and they accommodated it for me. And it also have bathtub so make me more comfortable.

In general, everything is OK. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is at Downtown. The rooms are quite good. The price is reasonable.
