I thought the hotel was a 4 star hotel as seen on the wall of the reception desk. It was not as comfortable as my expectation, but it was OK. It is easy to find a place to eat nearby the hotel and the staff is helpful.

The Darmo Hotel is conveniently located in central Surabaya near taman Bungkul-so you shall not worried about getting food, this is the best hotel for Kuliner. The Breakfast in the hotel also amazing lots of traditional East Java food such as Gado gado, soto lamongan and lontong balap. The room is spacious still fit for an extra bed. The one that need improvement is the lighting, feel little bit dark in the room, better to add 1 more light.
