Shanaya Resort Malang

I can see this accommodation will become more popular in the near future. A lot of renovation going on (which is good), they're keep expanding the property. Overall a good experience 👍

Konsep resortnya menarik, terutama Ranggawuni yg berbentuk Cabin Log, pakai kayu asli semua. Suasana cukup sepi untuk istirahat. Ada pendopo yg berisi berbagai alat untuk bermain seperti Jengga, puzzle kayu, soccer table, karambol dll, khusus hari sabtu ada menunggang kuda, cocok untuk berakhir pekan dengan keluarga terutama yg masih kecil. Sarapan dan hidangan restorannya enak 👌.

View bagus banget, Area luas, Ada playground semi outdoor (pendopo), Kolam renang banyak, disediakan shuttle untuk ke cabin/villa, Ada sewa sepeda buat muter² area villa, Sarapan bervariasi dan enak² dan untuk anak² tidak ada tambahan biaya. Sangat memuaskan sekali menginap 2 malam di resort ini, semoga ada kesempatan kembali menginap disini lagi

What a lovely place with a nice swimming pool and an amazing landscape, you can even see the view of the volcanoes. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and they even invited us for an iftar dinner with the locals. The bungalow is cute with a little waterfall style on the bathroom, quiet, and they provide transportation to pick up/drop us off at the property. The only thing we didn't like, which is not their fault though since it was a third party, was the trip agency we booked through the hotel management; We booked a private trip to Bromo and Ijen and paid quite expensive than the average prices we have checked online before, but since we trusted the hotel we dealt with it. We went to Bromo and were easy customers who asked about many things or stopped in many places for photos or visits. We only wanted to see Bromo and Ijen, which is why some agencies offer more for this price, like waterfalls, etc. Since it's a private trip, we are the ones who can ask or suggest doing sightseeing, but we couldn't do it because the guy from the agency directly came to us and suggested, "This is what we do, blah blah blah", we agreed. The guy was so slow and didn't prepare everything properly, it's like we are doing everything by ourselves, and we already so tired, and the guy asked to stop for gas, drinks, etc, which is he didn't prepare, so we lost a lot of time for it. We wanted to book a nice hotel near Ijen so we could relax and rest before we did the hiking. We found a property still in the Ijen area, and normally, they will pick up/drop off the clients from/to Ijen. But this guy kept saying, "No. Book near Ijen, it's far," he became aggressive and pushy. Since we were so tired already, we agreed again. In the end, we ended up with a hotel full of spiders near the gate of Ijen because the guy was so lazy and didn't want us to stay a bit far from the garden. He got a free room from our hotel (it sounds like he got a deal with the other hotel). After returning from Ijen, we asked him to drop us off not at Malang but at Banyuwangi, and he charged us 300k more since it's still the area. We didn't want to and argued. Ultimately, we asked him to drop us off at the nearby villa, yet he said it was far away and asked us for money. We only had a little choice since we were far from the city. Shanaya Resort could provide trustable third parties to their clients next time.

Suasananya nyaman, akses ke area sekitar mudah, pelayanan ramah dari staffnya, kamar bersih dan fasilitas yang didapatkan juga OK.
