Ricgem Place

not recommended. I'm stay 2 days, no water, we can't take a shower and poop in our bathroom. we must share bathroom. btw I'm booked for private bathroom not for sharing bathroom. the reception not friendly 😢.

Pros 1. All staffs are nice and friendly 2. Room was bigger compare on the ads 3. Near to all activities Quite place and easy to locate. Cons 1. Wifi connection is available only at the common area and lobby, has a weak connection also. 2. They shutting off the fusebox once you go outside for some activities, minus the fact that el nido is having power storage sometimes. 3. For 4 days stay no one from their staffs collect our garbage bin so it got smelly inside the room, no room clean up also. Special Reminders/ Experience Our door knob lock was malfunctioning you can open the door from inside even if the door is locked (not on the outside). One time we've got home from our tour the door is open even if the knob is lock, I'm an OC person before we leave I double check everything and I am sure it was locked properly. I do believe that they used to open rooms to check if there is some unplugged cords or unattended AC, but to the owners and staff please make sure that you will properly locked again the doors after the checkup. We've bothered all night what if some of our precious items was stole from us because someone leave our room open? By the way room number 9 is our room number kindly repair the knob or put some double lock if necessary.

I just rent this room for taking a shower after half day tour in el nido

The woman who's always wearing red dress has an attitude problem. Not even accommodating. The internet connection was just a props? Can connect to the wifi but there's no Internet connection. I ask for it for several times they said they'll restart it but nothing happened. But there's also a man who's nice to us. And another thing is, we talk to that woman in red dress and short hair on our last night, and ask if can we order already our breakfast since we're going to leave early. But she said at 5am there's already available staff to accommodate us, but it was 6:15am when the staff was available. And we left at 6:30. The location though was great but there's a lot of hotel near there. Just find the best one. 👎 And the rice that was served was not even hot. Maybe that was from the rice served last day lol

The rooms are clean and are a bit bigger than the pictures make them out to be. There wasn't enough closet space though so maybe that's why the room seemed to have more space. Shower water was weak but the faucets were ok. No water heater (as expected). The bed was comfy enough (not thin or sunken down or anything). The aircon worked well but we couldn't make our wall fan rotate. Their deluxe rooms for 2 people are upstairs in the 3rd floor so it's quite the climb. They did help us get our luggage up although we weren't able to get help bringing them down for check-out. Their family rooms are on the ground floor so that's convenient. The place isn't located right beside the beach but walk to get there is so short, it probably only took us 5 minutes to get to the beach and the restaurant strips and the whole way, the roads are paved. So I wouldn't worry about the location if being mobile isn't much of an issue. Also, trycs are everywhere so you can easily get a tryc if you don't want to walk. They have wifi in the lobby/dining area, which is supposed to be a PLDT Fiber connection based on the equipment but we didn't get to try it out. They have clothes-hangers outside shared by rooms in the same floor for letting towels and swim-clothes dry. It's also very convenient that Kuya Richard booked our van transfers from Puerto Princesa and our island hopping tours for us. On the way there the van dropped us off at the terminal and we got on a tryc (on our account) to Ricgem. All tricycle drivers seem to know the place. When it was time head home, we were picked up by our van right at Ricgem so we didn't need to get on a tricycle. Our tour guide, captain, and chef for the island-hopping tour (Tour C) were nice and helpful as well. One of us got nauseous so they tried to help with that. The lifevests and snorkelling gear were all working well. Overall our stay with them was great. I highly recommend them for people who want to stay in El Nido on a budget.

This hotel has a good location but their service is unsatisfactory. Staff were not friendly. The water in the bathroom was flooding after taking a shower. WiFi is only available in the lobby. Hope you can improve.

Although there wasn't any problem with their service but it was done without a heart...very functional...the Filipino hospitality is absent. It's like "you paid for a budget service so we will give you private service" period.

Service of hotel was not good, even the internet connection is not working properly. The staff was not that cooperating, not recommended for stay.
