Sealey Resort

Everything was broken. Room was dirty and smelly. Towers were not clean. Tons of mosquitoes were in the room. Outage 2 times, once is at midnight, we had to change a room.

No internet facility. Toilet stinks odors. Power was out for 1-2 hours at night.

This hotel was offered as an alternative to the one I booked due to the original hotel being overbooked even that it was prepaid. (we had booked three rooms ) My family and I landed at the pier on Koh Larn and we called the hotel for their shuttle service but was told to make our own way via local bus service. Upon arrival and check in we enquired about breakfast which was to be included in the original hotel booked previously, only to be told that they preferred us to find alternative breakfast...Not exactly welcoming. A number of faults with the room include no water flow at one handbasin, kettle supplied in the rooms but no cups or coffee, door did not close securely in one room. We requested one extra bed and was charged 500 Thai Baht which I found to be excessive but was necessary so we had no choice but to pay. Lastly we had placed a towel on the balcony rail to dry but a storm came and blew the towel down to the muddy ground. The staff picked up on this and charged an extra 500 Thai Baht. The towel was returned to their laundry room so I asked to take the towel with me seeing as it was charged as replacement. We were given the towel and I laundered it easily myself. I did not cause a scene at the check out but will forever remember the poor treatment we were given . Must try harder Sealey Resort.

Very good hotel and management

The room is old and very humid. There is dust and mold on the bed and mosquito net.

The room is ok. It may look a bit dilapidated, especially the bathroom. It should be better maintained. On the day I went, there was a problem with a broken plumbing pipe, causing the water to flow very weakly. Makes bathing inconvenient But the service staff are good and considerate. I'm impressed. The location is next to the beach and there is a 7-Eleven next to it. It is considered very convenient that there will be no breakfast, but there is no problem.

The younger sister who takes care of the accommodation, the staff are cute and friendly, always asking if there is anything they want. On the day I went to stay for two nights in a row, no one came to clean it up. At night it looked a little scary.
