You Should Also Know This

Price for children ages 2-11 years applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults.

Children must be accompanied by at least an adult who purchases in same tour.

Infant seats are on request basis if informed at time of booking.

Although the Grand Palace is wheelchair accessible, the transfer vehicles cannot accommodate the wheelchairs. This tour is not for wheelchair-bound passengers.

Morning itinerary and afternoon itinerary are identical.

Important Note:

There is strict Dress Code for visiting the Grand Palace as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha is Thailand's most sacred site. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves. Sleeveless top are not allowed. If you're wearing sandals or flip-flops, you must wear socks (in other words, no bare feet.) Women must be similarly modestly dressed. See-through and bare shoulder clothes are not allowed. Dresses must be of below knee length (preferably covering the ankle), with no open-toe shoes, etc. It is also recommended to avoid bright colours.

This tour concludes at Gems Gallery International. Gems Gallery is the largest gems store in the world. Also at Gems Gallery, there are a factory, a theatre, a restaurant/lounge and much more. Every visitor of Gems Gallery will receive a complimentary soft drink at air-conditioned and comfortable space. Once arriving at Gems Gallery, you can leave straight away or stay here for hours. The choice is yours. Upon request, a complimentary transfer back to your hotel will be arranged.

The place look grand and well-organized. The area is large with lots of walking, unfortunately there's not a lot of shade to cover yourself so bring umbrella or hats is adviseable.

I always admire the archictural art of the building in Thailand. It has unique shape in its roof that distinguish it from other ever famous Japanese or Chinese building. In the grand palace, not only it shows the significancy of architectural development in Thailand, but also how culture affect historical artifacts and clothes. My visit to the Grand Palace really make my journey in Thailand unforgettable. The building complex were amazing as I can see how people were actually live here hundreds of year ago. Everything was really well-preserve. Not to mention the friendly guide that keep us engaged the whole time. Lovely!
