From Perth, drive by the vibrant turquoise waters of Jurien Bay and see the traditional stone buildings in Central Greenough Historic Settlement. After lunch see if you can spot the wild kangaroos that appear on country roads as you continue north. 

You don't want to miss the bubblegum pink-tinted water of Hutt Lagoon, which gets its peculiar Insta-worthy shade from high salt levels. Visit in July and September to see the countryside dotted with wildflowers. Dine at Kalbarri National Park and be captivated by the majestic coastal cliffs. 

Explore more of Kalbarri National Park on the second day. Take in the stunning scenery of Murchison River, framed by the red rocks of Nature's Window. Marvel at the river gorges that have been slowly formed over millions of years. 

Return to the rustic country town of Geraldton for lunch, then tour around it. Learn about Yamaji culture during your visit to the local museum. Then, head to the iconic Point Moore Lighthouse, the first all-steel tower in Australia.

On the third day, head to the fishing village of Cervantes. Try Australian lobster with a set meal at the country's largest lobster fishing port before you make your way to the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Here, you can gaze upon thousands of golden limestone pillars that stretch as far as the eye can see.
