Prepare to be entertained and informed about Australia's coolest and most underrated city! Brisbane Insights is a comprehensive and interesting walking tour of all Brisbane's city landmarks, historical places of interest, hidden laneways and secret and alternative stories! Local guides will give you an 'insider' perspective on Brisbane's brutal, rebellious and funny history! Your Brisbane City Sights walking tour starts at the Queen Victoria statue in Queens Gardens where you'll learn about Brisbane's origins as the bloodiest and most evil place in Australia. Then we go to the oldest street in Brisbane, a hidden 'hipster' laneway with controversial street art.

Other highlights of the first half include seeing heritage-listed buildings and architecture, King George Square, City Hall, Speaker's Corner, the Stolen Generation Memorial, Albert St Uniting Church, discover Brisbane's rich literary and chaotic musical stories and Queensland's crazy and turbulent corrupt politics! Along the way, we also discover quirky modern street art, including scrap-metal kangaroos and bats!

Brisbane Insights then goes off the beaten track where we show you the intriguing communist and alternative landmarks, Jacob's Ladder and the notorious Tower Mill, Australia's oldest windmill and most effective torture instrument and haunted site.

After the drinks break, enjoy Anzac Square where the war memorials fascinatingly reflect Australia's evolving attitude towards international conflict before we see some more churches-St Stephen's Cathedral and Chapel, the oldest churches in Queensland. The tour continues to stylish Riverside to see the 'Brown Snake'; the Brisbane River and Story Bridge, before ending at City Botanic Gardens, where you will see ponds, flood markers, birds and water dragons!
