Prambanan Temple is truly a breathtaking historical site and a must-visit if you’re in Yogyakarta. The architecture is stunning, and each stone carving tells a story, and the atmosphere is peaceful despite the number of visitors. The temple complex is well-maintained and clean. I recommend visiting early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds.
There are also informative signs and local guides available if you want to learn more about the history and mythology of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sunset view behind the temple is absolutely magical. A great spot for photos and cultural appreciation.
