The view is so great. At first, it rained at 2-3 pm. I thought I wouldn't be able to go up to the 78th floor. But luck was on my side. 👍👍👍👌👌 There weren't as many people as I thought. It was overflowing.

It's really penuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, the photos are a scramble, it's better to just queue and then be given 1 minute of photo time per person so you get maximum results. It's been a long time since the photo came out unsatisfactory because there were lots of people around

What is Special about Mahanakhon SkyWalk?

Wonder why this attraction is special for tourists? Here’s a closer look at the must-do activities and unique experiences once you have secured your Mahanakhon SkyWalk tickets from Traveloka!

1. Step Onto the Glass Tray: A Heart-Pounding Thrill

One of the most exhilarating experiences at Mahanakhon SkyWalk is stepping out onto the Glass Tray, a transparent floor that juts out from the side of the building. Suspended 310 meters above the ground, the Glass Tray allows you to literally walk on air, with only a sheet of glass separating you from the streets far below. This experience is not for the faint-hearted, but it’s a must-do for those seeking a rush of adrenaline.

2. Enjoy Panoramic Views from the Observation Deck

The indoor and outdoor observation decks at Mahanakhon SkyWalk provide stunning 360-degree views of Bangkok. Whether you're gazing out over the city’s sprawling skyline during the day or watching the city lights twinkle at night, the views are nothing short of spectacular.

The outdoor deck, in particular, offers a breezy, open-air experience that makes you feel like you’re truly on top of the world. Bring your camera—this is the perfect spot for capturing breathtaking photos of Bangkok from above.

3. Experience the SkyRides: A Virtual Adventure

For those who love immersive experiences, Mahanakhon SkyWalk Tickets also offer you unique SkyRides, a thrilling virtual reality journey. Strap in and get ready to "fly" through Bangkok's skyline in a way you've never experienced before.

This VR attraction adds an extra layer of excitement to your visit, allowing you to explore the city in a completely new dimension. It's a fun and futuristic way to see Bangkok from a bird's-eye view without ever leaving the building.

4. Sip and Savor at the SkyBar

After an adventurous day exploring the SkyWalk, unwind at the rooftop SkyBar, located on the 78th floor. The SkyBar offers a range of refreshing drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, and fine wines, all while you take in the breathtaking views of the city.

Whether you're enjoying a romantic evening with a loved one or simply relaxing after a day of sightseeing, the SkyBar provides the perfect ambience to end your visit on a high note—literally!

5. Learn About Bangkok from the Interactive Displays

Mahanakhon SkyWalk is not just about thrilling experiences; it’s also a place to learn about the city. Throughout the SkyWalk, you’ll find interactive displays and informative panels that provide insights into Bangkok’s history, culture, and landmarks. It’s a great way to deepen your understanding of the city while enjoying the views from above.

6. Ascend in Style with the Multimedia Elevators

The experience at Mahanakhon SkyWalk begins the moment you step into the building, thanks to its state-of-the-art Multimedia Elevators. These elevators are among the fastest in Thailand, whisking you up to the observation deck in under a minute.

But speed isn’t the only impressive feature; these elevators are equipped with immersive digital screens that offer a stunning visual journey as you ascend. The combination of speed and multimedia effects makes the ride itself an exciting prelude to the SkyWalk experience, setting the tone for the adventure that awaits at the top.

Bonus Tip: Most Popular Floors at Mahanakhon Skywalk

The two most popular floors at the Mahanakhon Skywalk are:

  • 74th Floor: This is the indoor observation deck offering stunning 360-degree panoramic views of Bangkok. It also features interactive windows and augmented reality experiences.
  • 78th Floor: This is where you'll find the thrilling outdoor observation deck, including the iconic Glass Tray. It's an adrenaline-pumping experience to walk on a glass floor 310 meters above the ground.

When is the best time to visit Mahanakhon SkyWalk?

The best time tovisit Mahanakhon SkyWalk largely depends on the experience you’re looking for. For those who prefer a less crowded environment, visiting early in the morning right after the SkyWalk opens is ideal. The morning light also provides excellent conditions for photography.

However, if you’re after a more dramatic and romantic view, consider visiting during the late afternoon or early evening. This timeframe allows you to witness the sunset over Bangkok, followed by the city’s transition into a sparkling urban landscape as night falls. Keep in mind that this period can be busier, so arriving a bit earlier might help you secure a good spot.
