Want to have a special opera day in London with Turkish dinner and meze? Get a complete package at Sarastro. Named after a character in Mozart’s ‘Magic Flute’, Sarastro restaurant opened in 1996 with dining room features opera boxes, luxuriant velvet tablecloths and cosy booths which easily transports you to the world of Arabian Nights. The special musical events regularly take place, with live opera on Sundays and Mondays, swing and Motown on Thursdays and Latin rhythms on Fridays. The package inclusive of 2-course dinner, extras and drinks can be paid for on the night, à la carte is only available when there are no performances. Shows commence at 2.30 pm and 8.30 pm with a suggested reservation time of at least half an hour before the start time.
