Summer in Lombok can be tough for outdoor activities. Rain can be unrelenting, trekking trails get muddy, and the sea can be rough. If you’re chasing quiet beaches and don’t mind some showers, it’s doable, but we wouldn’t blame you if you gave it a miss.
Autumn is a solid pick if you want to beat the crowds but still enjoy good weather. Great for hiking, beach days, and exploring villages before peak season kicks in.
Winter is the best time to visit Lombok. Perfect for surfing, snorkelling, climbing Mount Rinjani, or just chilling by the sea. Just book early as it’s by far the busiest season.

October to March are the hottest months, reaching up to 32°C. It’s wet and sticky, not the best for big adventures, but if you just want to kick back and enjoy quiet resorts, go for it.
July and August are the coolest, sitting at 25°C to 29°C and nighttime temps that get as low as 20°C. The weather is spot-on for outdoor fun, whether you’re hiking, surfing, or checking out waterfalls.
December to March is the wettest stretch. Heavy rain and humid days make it tricky for outdoor plans, but there are deals to be found if you don’t mind the rain.
May to September is the driest time. You’ll get sunny skies, clear water, and perfect beach weather—ideal for just about everything.
