Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig

Bonifacio Global City is Metro Manila's premier planned business and lifestyle district, in Taguig City. Laid out on a walkable grid of wide, tree-lined avenues, it's home to multinational corporate offices, the Philippine Stock Exchange, international schools and embassies, alongside upscale malls, restaurants and hotels — a very different pitch to a beach getaway, and the natural base for business travellers or anyone wanting a modern, pedestrian-friendly city stay.

What BGC is known for

BGC is often nicknamed the "Wall Street of Asia" for its concentration of corporate headquarters and the PSE, but it's just as well known as a dining and lifestyle destination — Bonifacio High Street's open-air shopping and restaurant strip, the Market! Market! and SM Aura malls, and a dense cluster of cafes, bars and international restaurants. It's also one of the more walkable districts in the metro, with broad footpaths and pocket parks rather than Manila's typical traffic-choked streets.

Getting there

BGC is roughly 12km from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) — allow 30-60 minutes by car depending on traffic, longer at peak times. Grab (ride-hailing) is the easiest way in from the airport or from other Metro Manila districts like Makati.
