Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is France's largest airport and Europe's third-busiest, handling around 72 million passengers in 2025. It sits about 25 km northeast of central Paris and opened in 1974.
CDG has three terminal complexes. Terminal 1 is known for its distinctive circular design, Terminal 2 is split into several sub-terminals (2A through 2G) and handles the bulk of traffic, and Terminal 3 mainly serves low-cost and charter airlines. CDG is the principal hub for Air France and the wider SkyTeam alliance, with over half of Air France's Paris passengers connecting through here to onward flights.
As one of the world's busiest hubs, CDG serves over 300 destinations across Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific. For fares and schedules on specific routes, check Traveloka's dedicated flight pages, which cover route pricing in more depth than this overview.
The RER B train runs directly into central Paris in about 30 minutes and is generally the fastest option outside peak hours. The Roissybus and other bus services also connect CDG to the city, and taxis and rideshare pick-ups are available at designated points outside each terminal.
CDG offers extensive dining and retail, including duty-free and luxury shopping, multiple airline lounges, free Wi-Fi and full medical and currency exchange services, in line with a major global hub.
