LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is one of New York City's three major airports, sitting in East Elmhurst, Queens, just minutes from Manhattan. Compare airline fares on Traveloka and set a Price Alert before you book.
LGA handled roughly 32.8 million passengers in 2025, making it one of the busiest airports serving New York City. It's primarily a domestic airport, prized for its proximity to Manhattan compared to JFK or Newark. The airport completed an $8 billion terminal redevelopment, replacing its older facilities with modern terminals across two runways.
As a domestic-focused hub, LGA connects New York to major cities across the US, with a small number of international routes to nearby destinations in Canada and the Caribbean operating under customs pre-clearance arrangements.
LGA is a hub for both Delta Air Lines and American Airlines. Delta and its regional partners operate exclusively out of Terminal C, while Terminal B hosts American Airlines, Air Canada, JetBlue, Southwest, United, Frontier, and Porter.
LGA has three terminals — A, B, and C — following its full redevelopment. Terminal A sits on the west side of the airport, while B and C are grouped together on the east side.
LGA has no subway station, LIRR stop, or AirTrain connection — a planned AirTrain project was cancelled in 2021. The MTA's Q70 Select Bus Service links the airport directly to the subway network, and local buses serve nearby neighbourhoods. Taxis and rideshare are available at designated stands outside each terminal.
Post-redevelopment, LGA offers a wide range of dining and retail across all three terminals, free Wi-Fi, and standard traveller services including baggage storage and family-friendly amenities.
