Outside looked neglected

have stayed n this hotel previously. this time I was in a GF room. The bathroom had water leaks through the floor and water stains at every tile joint. The bed was not made properly. Pillowcases not tucked in and just thrown on the beds. Not a good look at all. This room with the bathroom in its condition should not be offered for rent

Very comfortable room, good facilities snd bathroom

The rooms are renovated, clean and comfortable. We were really surprised as the from the outside the place looks like an abandoned pub. Well worth staying though for the price, comfort and location. The glass door at end of corridor is noisy when people come and go, but otherwise we found the place to be pretty quiet.

No one at reception. Looks like a run down Boarding House for people just released from Prison. I demand a refund

Great location in the centre of town across the road from the railway station. Clean and tidy. Close to centre of town. Requested a double bed. Given 2 singles. Bathroom door did not lock.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night. From our experience, reception is only manned from 2pm, and they only answer the phone during checkin times. I had been hoping to check in an hour earlier due to a back injury, but there wasn't anyone there. So at 2pm we turned up and was given the key. What a pleasant surprise! The main room was very large, with a 3 seater couch, TV, dining table, aircon, kitchen etc, all very clean and newly renovated. Our bedroom had a safe, king sized bed, TV, aircon, all very comfortable and clean. The 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds and a king single, aircon. Bathroom with shower had a spa which wasn't working, but when I told them the next morning they said a plumber had been booked in to repair it. Toilet was separate which is great if travelling with friends. I was told all the upstairs rooms have been renovated as well, and we'd stay there again if needing accommodation in Goulburn. Very centrally located, and the upstairs rooms have a locked door to access the hallway.

The pricing was great for the room . Comfortable bed but pillows not good . Evey thing else was good

The property manager (Taylor) is so welcoming and accommodating. A beautiful, kind and compassionate woman who went out of her way to find a solution to a booking mix-up.

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 individuals and was very happy with the spaciousness and facilities of the apartment. The main bedroom had a king and was large (we moved a single bed into it as the 2nd bedroom had 3 beds and was a bit cramped). The apartment had been renovated at some recent time and it was quite pleasant. The accommodations are the back end of a currently closed pub and a typical 2 level long block of rooms. Within the building they present well. Externally the complex is an old hotel/motel (the hotel/pub part closed at present) and my first impressions were not good. Its external appearance wasn’t great but hopefully this will change if the property renovations continue. Reception didn’t seem to be open before checking time (I called by at 11am) so check beforehand if turning up early. There is free parking down the back of the property for guests.

Carlton Suites was located near main street, supermarkets, park, The Soldiers Club all in walking distance. The motel itself is dated with basic room facilities. Attention to detail with cleaning is lacking such as vacuuming around beds even if against wall (few dead cockroaches) and exit mould in the shower area would help. Kettle available however no tea/coffee, sugar, milk supplied. Bed was comfy however new pillows desperately needed as they were thin and floppy. Worth 3 stars mainly for location and short stays.

Perfect venue for our needs

All up good. Rooms look welcoming and have had a freshen up in recent times. Bed was newish but for me too soft. Bathroom clean and newish. Clean towels and clean sheets. 👍 All up good value room. Outside of building looked terrible and as if it's closed. Used to be maybe some sort of pub or something. But that obviously didn't affect stay but if I wouldn't have prebooked I don't think I would have gone in by the external appearance. And reception needs to be a little more welcoming. But all up good.

Comfortable stay, on our way up north. When I saw the main road it was on, I was worried but we were more towards the back of the property, and there were thick concrete walls. Great location, as you can park your car at the motel, and then just walk into town (the street behind) and walk back. Love it when I can do that.

Place is run down, there were bugs around carpet (no sign of any vacuuming happening, found hairs here and there along with stains on bed sheets. They were washed but obviously heavily bulk washed with too many sheets at once so they don’t get cleaned well enough. Yeah not a place I’d recommend.

The room was perfect for our needs as just a stop over in our travels. Booked through last.minute.com which stated reception open until 9pm. We aimed to be there by then but reception closes at 5pm? Key was easily located. Also said that we’d need a $150 deposit on top of room fee.. a little stress was created to find the extra cash. But in end wasn’t needed. Chinese in walking distance was amazing for last minute meal. All in all I’d stay there again.

Clean, quiet & close to facility I was attending.
