This is a very good value for the price. The grill area was excellent and the people running the place were amazing. It may not be the most flash place but it was the best value that we have found in several trips to the area.

The room and utensils were nice and clean. The host was very friendly. It was 500 or so meters from the centre of Penola and there was good off street parking (free). We would stay again.

Walking distance to town where there are nice hotels and many cafes and shops.
Petticoat Lane is somewhere special to visit too.

It is a pleasant Motel for a budget conscious person like us. Well situated in Penola. Close to eateries and the Coonawarra district. The owners a very kind and happy to please.

Booked for 2 nights during Festival but upon arrival was allocated an upstairs room. Despite the property not being fully booked was told a ground floor room was not available. This was a problem for us as being elderly we found that climbing stairs difficult.
Parking was behind the building and open to anyone passing, I found this not very secure. Restaurant was Closed.
