The Crowne Plaza was a great hotel to stay at. You are close to the free transit area and a lot of the area is very walkable. Service was fantastic and the view from the room was great. Bed were clean and comfortable.

Standard king size room is great and has a fridge and great bathroom. However no facilities to have a drink of water amd no water bottled provided. Suggest to bring bottled water to store in fridge. Very quiet overall however can hear coversations in hallway when people walk past

The hotel was good value for money during Grand Prix , the pool is a little basic and currently there is a building site , so noisy . But staff were very helpful

Ellie on reception was brilliant and went the extra mile for us giving us a complimentary upgrade and a room high up overlooking the river Yarra. Room was brilliant with superb views.

Liked: Professional happy staff. The macaroons left on a plate for my Mum's birthday. The view from the window. The comfortable beds. The shower hot water and pressure.
Didn't like: Room doors slamming. Glass areas in the room got finger marked easily. Corridor carpets look tired and not super clean although very difficult being high traffic areas.
Breakfast drinks area is squashed with guests standing over each other. No hand sanitizer around. We are all touching serving spoons same buttons for drink options etc.
In saying all this we have returned and we thoroughly enjoyed our night away from home. We would like to think we'll stay again in the future. We find it easy to get to and interesting if we have a casino river view.
