Cool hotel in a unique location

The whole area is owned by a billionaire and setup to ensnare travellers. There is no food options whatsoever for a single traveller at the rooftop restaurant and room service is severly limited.

Wonderful in every way!

We chose this hotel for our first time in Australia and couldn't have been happier with the choice. Wasn't the smoothest trip from the UK but turning up here made it worth it. Staff were excellent and nothing we asked was a problem. Both the hotel and other facilities were clean and well maintained. When we next visit Auz there will be no question about returning here.

Beautifully designed, artsy and unique stay. I enjoyed my view of the tropical cliff outside of my room, the design and layout of it and the feeling of luxury from check in through my departure. Centrally located with lots of great eats, drinks and touristy things to do in immediate vicinity. Highly recommend, and I hope to return!

We loved every square cm of this hotel and enjoyed every moment. Unfortunately we were so taken up with things that we didn’t get time to really soak it in but - next time! We would like to point out that there is no electric vehicle charging in the car park which was our one and only disappointment.

Poor layout in room, particularly position of TVs. Lighting inadequate. Could not reach bedside shelf from bed. Shelf should have drawers under. Shower rose holder was broken. View of Brisbane River was fantastic.

The hotel is in a great position, literally under Story bridge, 2 minutes from a City Cat stop and next to Felon's. Reception is nice, but a bit echoy if anyone else ismaking a noise. Rooms are nice, bed very comfortable. Our only gripe is that, after a hard days rain on the Saturday, we returned to a flooded room. We were moved quickly and without fuss, but to a smaller room. To compensate for having to re-pack, move room and un pack again through no fault of our own, a move to a better room would have been appropriate . Nothing, not even a credit against our stay. Hey ho, shame that nasty taste spoiled an otherwise great Brisbane city break

We had bridge/city/river view and its a beautiful outlook. Room itself was very nicely appointed without any issues. The location is very handy for the entertainment precinct that Felons bar/grill is part of, but it is slightly out of the way in terms of CBD sites - but that also obviously has its pluses. Loved the close proximity to the riverside walkway, enabling a nice (and spectacular) walk day or night. Pool is gorgeous and the outlook from pool area one of the coolest in Brisbane (on a river bend enabling views in both directions). However the pool is pretty tiny for the size of the hotel (bit of a juggle to have personal space if more than ten people are in it), and only has ten pool loungers in a quite small pool area, so guests may not get lounger or even somewhere to put your belongings on nice pool weather days. Also, the bridge does completely shadow the pool area a bit earlier in the day than expected, but the bridge looming above is a strong/unique/beautiful visual feature. Roof bar area is nice and has the same gorgeous outlook as pool though again its slightly small for size of hotel. On a minor/picky note we found the paintings in all hotel public areas (nearly all portraits of celebrities or somewhat famous people) covered too much of the walls - dozens of them in some places - to a point where its cluttered looking and overwhelming.

I feel you could try make a more private walk way from pool to rooms..bit nervous walkong past people all wet while they are eating at the bar. Otherwise was a beautiful stay!

Overall this is a very good hotel. I stayed in a large balcony room which has a lovely entertaining space. This is the second time I've stayed in the room. I would go back but there are points to be improved upon. House keeping did not clean the balcony area. One of the chairs was broken. One side of the internal space is dark and can do with some lighting. The room service desk does not always answer. The single blade disposable shaver in the vanity kit is useless. The "state of the art" gym is a small room with a few cardio machines. a fit ball and a dumbbell hex. That said, the view under the Storey bridge is stunning as is the hotel location and rooftop bar. I will stay there again but would love to see some improvements.

At this location you can rely most of the time on river transport. Plus there are excellent restaurants and bars at your doorstep.

Outstanding hotel. Every facility was first class and the staff were wonderful. I will be back!!

The property is in an ideal location for dining under the Storey Bridge. The room was unique with greenery from floor to ceiling directly outside your window giving absolute privacy. The room was comfortable with a king size bed a dark and quiet. We enjoyed a meal at Fellons and a cocktail at the hotels rooftop bar. The hotel's cafe served a lovely coffee and breakfast in the morning. We were able to just walk in for breakfast. You will not be disappointed by this hotel. Prepay your parking at the time of booking for convenience.

Everything was amazing, great little rooftop pool and bar with a view, rooms very clean and the beds super comfortable Only issue I had was I requested an extended checkout as we were about to embark on a long trip back home (which I did let the reception know) however was told it was $45per hour and had strict no complimentary policy, I think it would be an Above and Beyond service if there was availability (which there was) a 30-45mins extended checkout would have made our experience a little more pleasant than rushing out the door, just a tip to consider

Always love staying here. A river room this time gave us lovely views. And a snack at Fiume restaurant was great.
