Beds were comfy, aircon didn’t work, shower wasn’t working properly

A comfortable stay for the family on a big road trip.

Very courteous staff, good location.

Initial room was locked so given different room. Room was clean but lacked a few basic items. When staff arrived they gave additional bath towels but never got teatowels. All facilities in good working condition. Exterior street view needs renovations ie hard to read the main sign. The cafe attached appeared to be closed but as we left next morning it was open but as we had already made alternative plans we didnt visit it. Good secure fencing with locked gate but please next time tellutell

Room needs renovating, especially the old carpet, location ok, staff friendly

The room was very quiet, no traffic noise, able to make tea and coffee in the room, comfortable. The bed and the pillow were firm.

Was dissapointed by rudeness at check in. Pics are very deceiving as well. Pics strategically taken to make the hotel seem friendlier cleaner , and hotel grounds larger etc. When the site tells me hurry , last room available, I assume there will be other guests there as well. I am obviousy not from the area, andi would advise other travelers unfamiliar with the area to push on a little further, or stop a little earlier.

The spacious room had all the facilities we expected.

The hotel has its place in the market and is doing well. Super simple check in, clean and neat room. Super simple check out. Obviously a popular stop for long distance travellers, so some noise early morning as the Nomads get rolling at 5am, but that isn't surprising. I've now stayed 3 times in two years and each time been very satisfied for the result, noting the price. Well done.

Big disadvantages whoever whats to come bring hair dryer with self.

I booked this motel based on its 8.8-star rating, but I can confidently say it falls far short of that!! The bathroom was filthy, and instead of proper towels, I was provided with two dirty floor mats, no full-sized towel at all. I could hear loud banging, children screaming and general noise from the other rooms that continued throughout the night, and the smell of food from the owners’ kitchen permeated my entire room, as it was located near the reception and private residence. The lighting in the room was harsh and clinical, more like a hospital than a restful space. Dust coated all four walls, the bed was rock-hard, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected and uninviting. As a solo female traveller just passing through, I was simply looking for a clean and safe place to sleep. Unfortunately, I felt I had neither. The front door was hollow and secured with only a single basic lock. The blinds were thin and barely blocked the glaring fluorescent light from outside. To make matters worse, there was a pair of “communal thongs” left in the room, presumably because even the staff knew the shower was too dirty to use barefoot. When I asked the receptionist about food options nearby, she was dismissive and unhelpful, telling me to “just use Google.” She eventually mentioned a local pub but was neither friendly nor welcoming. I barely slept and left as soon as it was light enough to continue my drive. Unless you're absolutely desperate, I would not recommend staying here.

Convenient to eating options

Staff were very helpful - just overnight but everything was very comfortable.

On arrival, the receptionist was not at all welcoming. GRUMPY!!, where as the housemaid was the opposite. In the room, it was tidy and clean, however the toilet kept filling up in the bowl and taking ages to flush away, not enough towels, crockery, cutlery, glasses to cater for 4 people, and the toaster only worked it you stood there holding it down. The barbecue was disgustingly dirty. On handing the key back in to tell her about the toilet problem and toaster, she was just as grumpy as when we arrived.

Quiet motel, well presented and appointed room , helpful and polite staff, good location and a free coffee every morning from their associated coffee shop. Excellent security gate at entrance with sharp protrusions on top to prevent climbing.
