Pelican Caravan Park

If I am honest, on arrival the place did look very run down and the pool area wasn’t well maintained or inviting at all but I have to say that down at the cabins opposite the water and the camp kitchen was really good. Cabins are comfortable and well maintained and the boat jetty was good.

Very clean and looks all facilities in the rooms were pretty new. We stayed at riverside water view cabinet for 6 night. We like the view and it is quiet holiday park. We like it and would like to come back. The staffs are friendly too. The only issue is the WiFi. We couldn't get it worked.

River view was excellent. Lot of things to do like fishing, quake etc. Place was clean and tidy. Facilities like outdoor cooking was excellent.

Loved the waterfront view and able to go fishing and the absolute serenity. It was out of season so quiet which was lovely. One downfall is the smoking, being asthmatic it was not comfortable with neighbours that smoke - perhaps they should have a designated area as my allergies were triggered and did not make the last day of our stay very pleasant

Great spot to relax. Quiet Park. Short drive to town and supplies.

Good fishing spot and view. Close to shops and activities

Beautiful location right on the Nambucca River. Now that the freeway is open, its also a lot quieter. The deluxe two bed units are less than 12 months old and very well appointed, with a verandah looking down on the water. The BBQ area is free and is very clean. There is a jetty for fishing and a fish cleaning area, right next to the boat ramp into the river. Staff are very helpful, even if you check in late. Only a few kilometres on the old highway to either Macksville or Nambucca Heads.

We travelled to Nambucca as our daughter had an Oztag competition in Coffs Harbour, we were pleasantly surprised with the little cabin, it had everything we needed, bathroom, cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, TV. We noticed that the Caravan Park had a reasonable amount of amenities available for those travellers who had their own tent / caravan. Now that the highway has been upgraded it only took 1/2 an hour to travel through to Coffs for the competition days and once the games were over we discovered that Nambucca has a lot to offer, there was a nice little township and we had dinner at the local RSL which was located 5 minute drive away. Our cabin was located beside the estuary and we enjoyed seeing the Pelicans in the morning, and walking onto the pontoon where we tried to feed the Pelicans bread but they were onto us! We were pleased with the check-in as we were travelling down late Friday Night we had prearranged late check in and this was not a problem. Hopefully next time we come to stay we can stay for longer and just relax.

Brand new cabin, top features, breath taking view. Manager very helpful and welcoming. Will stay in cabin again next holiday!
