Peppers Location is 100%, short walk from ferry. Bus stop is also located at the ferry terminal with easy access around the island, $1.00 per person hop on and off all day pass is unbeatable.
The resort pools and grounds are kept beautiful. We only used the restaurant for breakfast and sadly found breakfast basic and cold, the outside chairs have mould and could do with a scrub. Our 3 room apartment could do with a freshen up, metal stools were rusty. I will defiantly go back to see if advice was taken, it just needs some TLC.

Our third time stying at this beautiful resort and it never disappoints. Approachable staff, tasty buffet breakfast with plenty of vegetarian options and quite simply the hugest, sparkliest, most beautiful pool I have ever had the good fortune to swim in. When we first came here pre-pandemic, my children were 8, 13 and 17. This time they’re 14, 18 and 22! And they love it just as much now. A wonderful place to stay while exploring magical Yunbenun/Maggie island.
Sadly now that my eldest has graduated from JCU, we won’t be coming up to Townsville for the foreseeable future. But until we meet again, I shall dream of Peppers appropriately named ‘Blue on Blue’ and that magnificent BLUE pool.

After a slight issue with bugs in our first apartment, we were offered a new apartment, which was simply amazing. thankyou Peppers, loved our family stay!

It’s pretty outdated. I think I saw that it was a 4 star hotel? It’s a 3 star in reality at best. The location was impeccable and the pool is HUGE but the rooms could use an upgrade.

We enjoyed our stay at Peppers. Lovely breakfasts,great pool, awesome shower and bath in our room. Couch needs replacing, as it's extremely sunken and hard to sit on. We would recommend, but be specific on room choice. Our room was a bit tired and noisy near the traffic. Staff very helpful. Thanks for hosting us!

Had the pool near our room hired out for a private function without notice to us till sign put up on gate as were headed for a dip....didnt get any of the $$$ for the private booking shared with the rest of us who payed to stay at peppers and use the pool near our room,but couldnt🤔

We really enjoyed our stay at peppers. It was a convenient location, comfortable, clean, good food, inviting pools and excellent efficient and warm staff.
A little disappointed over car park view as we had to keep the blinds down at all times when we were in our rooms as,, people off the ferry could see straight in.

The location of Peppers is very convenient to shop and ferry terminal. We have stayed here 4 times and have always had rooms on other side of hotel which were much quiter than this trip as we had a room overlooking the public car park and ferry terminal. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Very friendly staff. Nice facilities. Quiet. Good breakfast. We stayed for a week, and our reservation mentioned "WEEKLY HOUSEKEEPING", so we thought they would come to clean or at least change towels halfway through our stay, but the cleaning staff never came. We would have liked them to clean our room at least once during our stay.
