Rooms in poor condition, however bedding was clean, reception staff helpful

Ensuite room had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Room was tired with peeling paint and dated decor. Windows allowed outside noise to travel in including birdlife and street noise. Beers were cold, staff were pleasant. Food was pub grub. Convenient location and free parking was available on this occasion.

Excellect hotel accommodation in the hub of Port Macquarie and very well priced.

Room was clean, the bed was GREAT especially after a long day of driving.

This room was a total scam and an absolute nightmare. My group of three arrived for our reservation (Itinerary #73385854556489) only to find a property in a state of complete abandonment and structural decay. ​The conditions were appalling: ​Safety Hazard: The mattresses were so worn out that you sink straight to the bed frame when sitting down. ​Disgusting State: Bed linens were torn, and the room felt filthy. ​Structural Damage: The wooden floors were rotting and soft under the carpet, with cracked walls and baseboards detached from the floor. ​It was so terrible and unsafe that we refused to stay. We preferred to lose our money and pay for another hotel elsewhere rather than spend a single night in this "dump". ​To make matters worse, Expedia’s customer support has been non-existent. Their automated systems and human agents disconnect you immediately, making it impossible to resolve the issue. ​Save your money and your safety: STAY AWAY from Port Macquarie Hotel.

Old but clean.

Room stunk, stained carpet. I thought the strict check in process and pages of paper work was overkill for the standard of the hotel room. Staff friendly and mattress was comfortable.

Difficult to Carry suitcases up stairs, a lift would be useful

Plenty of mould in the shower area. Sad only paper coffee cups. No jug in room

The room was very spacious, location was good as it was close to the main tourist spot and the shopping centre. There were many dining options.

Very small and basic room, fortunately we booked an ensuite.

The hotel wasn’t open to receive us on our booking day - 24.12.25. The reason they gave was we needed to let them know in advance we would check in a confirmed booking, which was for sure mentioned as a *special instruction in the email footer. As a hotel, no reminder, no courtesy emails and the hotel was absolutely empty no visible occupants in the rooms as well on our arrival. It is Expedia’s fault as well. Expedia had to deliberately make it clear - the SPECIAL INSTRUCTION
