It was lovely staying with Rdyges, the excellent part was the upgrade to ocean view. Good breakfast options but will recommend to change atleast some menu in 2-3 days. But overall good experience.

Big rooms, lovely resort style pool, walkable to downtown esplanade where the restaurant's were, close to the marina and train station.

Our stay was amazing the pool was excellent, pool furniture could do with an upgrade but clean and plentiful. The staff were amazing at every level. The rooms were older style but clean
With amazing ocean view. Great buffet breakfast. Would definitely come back again.

This is a great location and beautiful place to stay in. They did not pay attention to any of the benefits for an Expedia VIP stay except for the room upgrade, and when I requested them, I was turned down. The employees were nice but did not care to help at all. They did not make the stay better as a member and I was disappointed as I chose this hotel due to the VIP availability.

Really nice resort although the walls are not sound proof… you can hear people shower and flush toilet if you are in your bathroom as well as outside noise in the corridors.

Great location, only 20 minutes from the airport and walking distance to everything else. Had a family room with a bunk bed in another bedroom which was great but the bottom bunk needed a good cleaning. Both bunks however had their own TV so the kids really got a kick out of that.

An old and tired hotel desperately needing an update. The bathroom fittings barely cling to the walls, the bath itself had what appear to be mould around some tiles. The pool deck paint has lifted everywhere and trying to find a pool lounge not covered in bird poo was a challenge. any positives? The sea view was great but be sure paid for that, and we visited the bar twice and the guy was fantastic!

Excellent amenities with multiple pools, walkable distance to cbd! Great restaurant with buffet breakfast availability! Board games and swim floaties available for complimentary hire! We had beautiful ocean views from our room!

We stayed for 6 days in total, the staff were very helpful and friendly towards us, the breakfast buffet was exceptional, the coffee was just right and affordable, the hotel was clean and welcoming, stunning views and nice pool areas.
However; in the bed I slept in there were bed bugs, I woke up every night and into the morning with bite marks all over my body.
Our room didn’t get cleaned for 3 days - I complained and it was corrected onto my final bill, but having a clean room after a extremely long and tiring day after touring Cairns would of been ideal.
We hardly had any towels, when I asked the cleaning staff I got given 2 when there was THREE of us in the room!!
They need more signs for “No Smoking” outside, there were a couple of people smoking outside in the pool areas and around my kids - I didn’t appreciate that!
Over all we were happy with the hotel, but they need to focus on the house keeping services.
