We stayed in one of the 10 Slab Huts, very rustic but comfortable. Close to tourist locations with QANTAS Founders across road and Stockmans Hall of Fame both within short walking distance.
The only drawback would be the traffic noise from highway with road trains travelling 24/7.

This place is great! Everything is clean and comfortable a stone throw from the Qantas museum. But best of all the hospitality is great! A pick up from the train station and a drop off at the airport! Plus letting us use the pool until it was time for a flight. The managers are just so accommodating and helpful! Would definitely come back.

We have stayed here quite a few times and we have had really good service and it’s very well kept tidy room with comfortable beds. The owners are absolutely lovely and happy to help in anyway they can. This time we stayed in the slab rooms and they were absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend staying here if your ever passing through Longreach

The room was great, clean and comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. It was close to the attractions I wanted to visit. They provided helpful information about dining and transport. It was exactly the type of place I wanted to stay.

Awesome resort. Shuttle was very appreciated especially in the heat. Our room was so amazing. The Stable rooms are unique in every way. Walking distance to Qantas and Stockmans was also extremely handy. When in Longreach book in here . Its fantastic. And the managers are lovely.
