Plenty of wood for the fireplace . Large wide verandah to enjoy the tranquility. Walked to circa 1876 restaurant only 5 mins away.

The Carriages is set in the lovely Hunter Valley, we stayed in a comfortable sized room for 2 people and enjoyed our hamper containing our breakfast which we ate on the beautiful wrap-a-round verandah. The owners were very helpful and polite.

The bed was awful. So hard it was like sleeping on the floor. The couch is also very saggy. The bathroom was old.
