The Playford is a lovely hotel. Very comfortable room (New York Loft was superb), excellent breakfast and friendly staff (Bella was most helpful). The hotel has recently been refurbished and the pool/spa/gym reopened yesterday. Highly recommend and will return!

Great location and easily walkable to everything the CBD offers. There’s a strip of lights under the TV - no idea where the switch was - therefore had to take room key from master slot to ensure lights off to sleep which also meant no Air con or power to charge devices overnight

Gleaming nice hotel. Friendly staff. I always wish checkin were less conversational though: friendly is important, but so is "I'm tired, give me the key already". Disappointed not to have streaming TV access (netflix, prime whatever).

Beds are very comfortable Not once during our 4 day stay did a staff member acknowledge us to say hello or even smile. The breakfast situation was a nightmare many tables were reserved & one staff member was quite rude.

Fantastic hotel, great location. Lovely decor and amenities, very nice bar - great for an evening drink ir afternoon tea. Location was perfect- easy to get everywhere in the city. Would definitely stay here again.
