Like: The staff are absolute top tier, and it started from stepping out of the car on arrival to being farewelled on departure. The gentle care and cheerfulness of staff across the various areas of the hotel made for an exceptional stay. The Star Grand Brisbane is a complete holiday destination that I intend to return to as often as possible. It's a must be experienced location, there are not enough words to describe how much I love the look and feel of this place. I especially love that I could access the casino, restaurants, entertainment, green and social spaces by just taking the lift. The pools and poolside dining options with expansive views is as perfect as guest access to the Skydeck on an extremely busy Saturday night. Fantastic first-time experience overall! I'm really looking forward to experiencing it again with my family next time. Dislike: Toilet paper

Amazing !! In every way ….. the food was first class including the room service. I know there is more to come but what is there now is world class.

Amazing

Absolutely beautiful well planned and clever hotel design to take in all aspects of the city. This is THE place to stay in Brisbane. Room, pool and all facilities are second to none. Possibly the view from every room would be quite good even in a city view room our river view room was fabulous. Check in was a breeze and Amey was very welcoming and helpful. Dinner options on the terrace and the bar on the sky deck absolutely amazing. While everything else on our visit was amazing, sadly Breakfast was only just ok. Nothing special, overall a minimal size and gluten free bread not toasted properly. (It was a choice of a simple hot dish, drink and a continental choice (eg fruit, muffin) When we asked for a juice to start while we waited for our coffee order ( a very small flat white) we were informed that would be extra charge. I really hope to return again soon but next time I would not be worried about getting breakfast included but definitely parking!

We loved that we didn't need to leave the Star everything we needed was there, like a resort stay. The staff were very welcoming and a accommodating. The room was lovely, and classy. The view was a added bonus. We were lucky enough to stay when the pool deck was open, which was exclusive to hotel guests and absolutely stunning!

Amazing stay!

The staff were incredible! So helpful and lovely. The river view rooms are breath taking with sweeping views. Private access to the rootop bars is a lovely touch - great spot where you dont need to leave the precinct as it has everything you need.

An overnight stay to celebrate my wife's birthday and retirement. Staff were cheerful and helpful, and supplied a delicious treat for the birthday girl along with a lovely hand written note. We can only say good things about our Starcation and hope to return un the not too distant future.
