Great location. Convenient parking. We stayed here on either side of our holiday in Hobart and made for a great base for a comfortable night before & after travel. The value for the money is outstanding. Just what we needed and the little kitchenette and decent-sized bathroom were welcome amenities not usually found at this price point.

I ended up staying 4 nights as it was very affordable, but at no time did they clean the room, the bin was over flowing and no one checked the room to maintain it throughout my stay. I have stayed in other motels before and the room had been maintained. The room was on the old side, but, the bathroom was equiped well enough.

Bright clean and neat. Great color scheme. I prefer brighter lighting but not everyone does. I would like to see tea towels in the room so we can dry the dishes.

the kitchenette was adequate with Microwave,kettle, toaster not much room.
Aircon & TV worked well.

Parking and location were fine. Found 3 bugs in my room on different days which was gross. Main light in the bedroom didn’t work. Shower had mould in it. Previous guests toiletries were still in the room and you can tell that the bathroom had not been cleaned in years. Would not come back

Overall the stay was good. The building and rooms are old but clean. The air conditioner was reverse cycle which was excellent in one room but did not really warm the main bedroom- we had to leave the door open. The fridge was noisy. The hot water was great and lots of water pressure. Location was very central and an easy drive to places.

We have stayed there several times with work and personal business in town. The room we stayed in this visit was by far the best one, great bed and shower. The kitchen was the cleanest to date.

I booked for 4 nights for my daughter and granddaughter. A friend picked them up and dropped them back later in the evening. Came back that night and it was freezing. They put the heater on but barely worked. No carpet on floorboards, and only one blanket for the bed. It was so cold they rugged up as much as possible but took my daughter until 12 midnight to get her daughter to sleep.
Went to reception the next morning and the male was so rude, he told me he was not allowed to put carpet on the floor or a rug or another heater due to Heritage listing. He thought one blanket was enough.
No sympathy only said he can put my daughter and granddaughter in another smaller room.She explained that she could not stay there another night and would like a refund but would not even give 5 cents.
Summer might be find if hot but Hobart can be cold even in Summer and rains a lot.
Not a place I, myself, daughter and granddaughter would recommend. When he was informed a review would be written, he remarked ah ah but, but no refund. We are seeking full refund.
Moved to Ibis Hotel to get a warm room and respect. My granddaughter is only 8 years of age.
Not a nice experience.

The heritage cottage 2 , the part we stayed in The mould was so thick on window sills and dirty water damaged quite a while ago , very dangerous for people with asthma, not fit for habitation , I still have trouble with my breathing
