Our room was nice & big, with a wonderful big bed & I'm a big guy (6ft 4inch @ 275LBS), summer in Europe is hot, but our room was nice & cool, AC was great, quiet room, with good water presser for the shower. Staff was great, nice & helpful held our bags until check in so my wife & I could go and explore Brussels. The staff had some great food place to check out; I love when a hotel staff is helpful like that.

The only thing nice about this hotel is its location. Otherwise, its facilities are all outdated--the carpet has a strong smell and is mildly worn out, there is a hole in the curtain, one of the hooks is broken, the AC is loud with vibrating parts, and the toilet water doesn't stop. We stayed for four nights. The moment we opened the door, a very strange smell like warm, dirty rag that urged me to ask for a room change. Unfortunately, the staff told me is fully booked and offered us free breakfast (which was OK). They told us to pack up our luggage so that we could change our room, but it turned out impossible again.　So I asked for extra cleaning and later on the room was filled with a strong scent of c I

The air conditioning was pretty much nonexistent. They didn’t even have fans. The only food they offer is breakfast. If you get there after 5, good luck getting anything to eat. Construction made the hotel almost impossible to find. Stay at Grand Place instead.

The breakfast was very low quality and not worth the price. The towels were old and rough. There were no pillows only throw pillows. And lastly and the biggest issue I had is that I alerted the front desk that the room needed to be cleaned and when I came back at night only to find out that it was not properly cleaned - it was not even swept. Oh… there was a step in our room that was quite dangerous.

Only thing to be aware about this property was the steep stairs to get up. If you have any issues with stairs this is not the hotel for you. If you don’t have issues with stairs it is great place to stay.

Fantastic hotel with exceptional room . Fabulously comfortable bed(enormous). Compact but excellent shower room . Such friendly helpful staff. Delicious fresh breakfast selection. Wonderful breads . Cooked options ; cereals ,jams ,nuts ,fruit ,freshly prepared mini waffles . Wonderful cook on duty . Brilliant location right next to metro & rail station. Well insulated from any street noise .
