This is a very good value. Friendly staff. Great location with many dinning options close by. Rooms are decent sized. Only negative is the room for the toilet is very, very small. Otherwise very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Great location, basically in the middle of the flea market. Restaurant was also good and service at both the hotel and restaurant were excellent. Parking garage nearby was 10 euro/day or you could park at the train station just a bit further for free. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Perfect for a weekend trip to the flea market. Check out the Ghost Church a few km away in Borgloon!

Good stay. Very convenient to flea market. Breakfast was good. Only downside, room wasn’t really clean. There was mold in the coffee cups.

Needs a total upgrade. Worn in all respects. Heat didn’t work in the room. Lumpy bed hard pillows. No grab bar to help in and out of the slippery bathtub. No easily accessed power outlets for devices. Expensive even if it was good which it is not. Will not stay here again.

Tongeren is a quiet nice place to stay. Very nice resturants in the center of the town. The hotel is in the center area, and the hotel staff is very nice. Free parking in the Q-park behind the hotel. Rooms quite big, but small single beds.

I stayed at this hotel 16 years ago and enjoyed it enough to return. It has been renovated since then, and it still sits right in the middle of the tourist spots: the basilica, beguinage, etc. Best of all, if you are interested in the Tongeren Sunday Antiques Fair, it starts right outside, in the hotel courtyard.
The staff are very helpful. For instance, I asked about the cost a taxi to Maastricht. The next morning, they had the fare, as well as the times/costs of alternatives, like train and bus.
Finally, the hotel restaurant is very popular and its menu has a wide selection of delicious items.

Well posiitined hotel to enjoy the Antique Market in the center of Tongeren. Extremely comfortable beds, reasonable parking rates for 24 hours, and thoughtful touches in room (kettle and coffee machine). No flexibility for late check out, and check out time is 10:00. Breakfast buffet is 14 Euros.
