Art de Séjour

Mario has built an oasis in the heart of Brussels. Our room (#2) was large and full of light. Breakfast was made to order and the coffee fresh brewed. Make sure the taxi driver knows you're headed to #12 and that it's not a hotel. Don't be fooled by the scene as you come from the airport...the location is perfect!

Our stay was perfect. Mario was a great host. He met us for check in and gave us some ideas and a map of the area. Our room was very comfortable. The bed, shower, air conditioning were all perfect. The room was quiet and the location was great. Our breakfasts were cooked to order and very nice. I would highly recommend this B & B.

This modern renovated home offers 4 units, each occupying a floor. The rooms are very large, well appointed with a large modern bathroom (re were in room #3) Well located close to old town, restaurants and transit, it is ideal for walking to the sites, museum, etc. The included breakfast is amazing with freshly baked croissants, fruit, yogurt, prepared to order eggs, specialty coffees. Mario is a supper host and greets his guests with an orientation session that includes dining recommendations, site visits and how to get around. Would highly recommend staying at this wonderful establishment.

Just the best experience - great host, wonderful breakfasts, beautiful well equipped room and a very convenient location for seeing the sights.

When I read previous reviews about this establishment I was a bit skeptical. Nothing could be that perfect. But we were pleasantly shown otherwise. We were greeted as if we were old friends who had come to town for a visit, and were treated that way throughout our stay. The room was beautiful, the whole place immaculate, the location ideal. Mario (the owner/host) personally serves a delicious breakfast to order. His attention to detail shows in everything. We travel a lot, and Art de Sejour tops our list of best places. Above and beyond in every way.

This is a great option for your stay in Brussels. The host was awesome, a great place to relax after getting to know the city, is very accesible to public transportation and it is conveniently walking distance from many landmarks.

The hospitality and room were excellent - perhaps the best I’ve ever seen! The host tailors your breakfast to your tastes, and also helps you set an itinerary if you are new to Brussels. I could not recommend it more highly!

I absolutely LOVED the stay in Brussels! Never been to Brussels before and I love it. The stay was fabulous with a gorgeous room that I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice. Great breakfast in the morning and they made sure everything was good throughout the stay. I would give 20 stars if I could. I do a lot of traveling and have not stayed in a better place. Beds were so comfortable, shower was some of the best water pressure I have ever had, these words sum it up: Amazing! Beautiful! Friendly! Convenient! Charming! Spacious! Safe! Large! Fabulous!

Wow! What a beautiful property. Walking in we were greeted by Mario. He was warm and friendly and assisted with check-in as well as recommendations for places around Brussels. This B&B is located central To everything you would need (restaurants, bars, grand place, manneken pis etc. were all right around the corner). We stayed on the second floor, each floor only has one room so you can imagine how spacious the rooms were. Walking into the room my jaw literally dropped because it was so beautiful! Mario literally thought of every little detail guests would need. If you’re on the fence about booking here, go ahead and book!. This property is just beautiful. Also breakfast smelled amazing in the mornings. We couldn’t make it to breakfast because we chose to spend our mornings in bed with a hot cup of coffee.

The host was very helpful and personable. We felt well looked after. The room was beautiful, large and luxuriously comfortable.

The Art de Sejour is a beautiful property. It is very obvious that the owner, Mario, has paid attention to the little details. Our room, with two singles, was larger than expected and very comfortable. The room was well appointed, with a large bathroom-shower area. Mario offered insightful advise on " Everything Brussels." An excellent breakfast is included, which starts at 0800. We had an early start on our first day, Mario started early to make sure that we had breakfast. Highly recommended.

The Art de Sejour was one of the best parts of our stay in Brussels. The rooms are beautiful, large, and comfortable. Mario is a wonderful host who shares his knowledge of the city and provides delicious breakfasts to fuel your day.

Our stay here surpassed all our expectations. We stayed for 3 nights in May. Mario, the host and owner was friendly and hospitable. On arrival he made us feel welcome. Here he took the time to advise us on where to go, what to see, where to eat and how to get there. Our room was spacious, comfortable, chic, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was a highlight in the morning. We were offered croissants, fresh breads and various jams on arrival. He always made us a a healthy greens shot and asked if we wanted muesli, yoghurt, fruit or a cooked breakfast also. Art de Sejour was located close to and nearby the main sites, but away from the bustling main streets. The nearest metro station is on the corner and Brussels central station is about a 15 minute walk. Lots of dining and shopping options near by. Dont look any further...this is the place to stay at.

Our stay was great. The host was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The property was very clean and was within walking distance to most of the places we wanted to see. Also breakfast was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and we look forward to coming back.

A beautiful room, high ceilings, modern and clean yet with a classic feel. Mario was terrific! Great intro and map to the city. Breakfast cooked to order, delicious.

I am happy to join the chorus of praise for Art de Sejours. Mario is an excellent host, from the informative greeting (with map) to the delicious breakfast, served with elegant aplomb, to the very airy and clean rooms. Architecturally, this B&B is incredible - a modern and stylish five-year "retirement" renovation project for Mario, where he did almost all of the work himself. The design and the detailed workmanship are amazing. And the rooms (onoy four) are very large (particularly by European standards) with beautifully done floors and wall treatments, plus the modern bathroom is amazing in a vintage building. The street is a little sketchy, particularly after dark, but turn right to the Avenue Anspach, only about 100 feet, away well lit and bustling with activity. Everything in central Brussels is in walking distance, and the metro (subway) is only three or four blocks away. And extremely reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
