We booked a deluxe room. The room was lovely but I would not have rated it as deluxe. However, it was very comfortable and clean. Everyone very friendly and helpful

I really enjoyed my stay at eurolanaken Location was perfect .. Quiet hotel very peacefull my room was like home to me I didn't feel I was away from home The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming... I will be back soon and often to belgium and I know I found my place !!

Well appointed and very comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Good standard of cleanliness. Restaurant staff a little lacking at dinner time. Very enjoyable breakfast but, although the glass of champagne offered was a lovely idea, it is not so good for people driving. I had to refuse my free glass and my friend as well but it would have been lovely the evening before!

There aren't many options in the area but if you're looking for a relatively cheap place to stay in the vicinity of Maastricht or going for a day of shopping in Maasmechelen's outlet village, you should definitely consider this hotel. It isn't overly fancy though: the rooms are basic but they are clean and serve their purpose. There is plenty of parking as well which is free. Staff at reception is very friendly, but the same couldn't necessarily be said about the bar area. If the weather is nice and you want to go for a morning run, the hotel is close to a local park. There is a gym onsite but it opens at 10am or 9am on a Sunday, which is just terrible service and definitely doesn't cater for business travel. You're basically forced to go for a swim as the pool opens at 7am. Breakfast looks great and I heard good things about it, but I couldn't be bothered spending Eur 17 per head on a coffee and a croissant as I'm not a big eater. All in all a solid option, but with room for improvement.

It was very hot,room with not air conditioning, Window broken,not possible to close,in the sower water was going every where, in the restaurant the floor was very dirty
For a 4* hotel they never change the sit in the bed, we stay 3 nights ......

The check-in took extremely long time, receptionist paid a lot of attention to previous guests, however once it was our turn, he was quite brief, stressing that as client of Expedia we should get s budget room but they managed a free upgrade to a better room...
Room was clean, with marks of usage (broken tile in bathroom...), but fine.

The price of the room was great. However, I recieved breakfast vouchers when I checked in which I assumed was with my paid room. The price of the breakfasts and parking equaled the price of the room. Now, it was not a bargain. I was also surprised that you had to pay to use the sauna or hot tub. Overall, the 3 bed and pull out couch family suite was nice and I would stay again, realizing the hidden costs.

This is a run of the mill hotel, the staff are friendly, the location is OK for the sites I need to visit (would be better the other side of Maasmechelen) and the rooms are pretty good value.
Couple of small problems on this visit were breakfast didn't start on time (and I needed to leave early) and the computers were down (so receipt had to be forwarded on).

Lobby and restaurant are really nice. Rooms did not look like the pictures. Rooms were old, carpet needed to be cleaned, bathroom smelled like sewage if you took the plug out of the drain in the tub. Bedding was new and clean. TV did not work. It was a stopping point on our way somewhere else and just needed it for a few hours one night so it was fine. I would not stay there again, but if you need a cheap place to stay for a few hours, this will work.
