Chabil Mar Luxury Villas - Guest Exclusive Beach Resort

Staying here was by far one of the best vacation experiences. The hospitality was amazing. Dion, Natalie, Locho, and everyone else that we met while On property went above and beyond the normal. I can’t recommend Chabil enough and will definitely be coming back!

Stayed with my husband and adult daughter. The villa was well appointed and very comfortable. Two bedrooms and two baths and a nice kitchen/living area so we had enough space to share. Nice shaded deck with hammock too. The two pools were well maintained. Lounge chairs and umbrellas at both the pool area and beach. There was a complimentary shuttle to bring us into town and the driver (I forget his name) was so friendly and accommodating. There were also complimentary bikes that we used a number of times. They were in good shape and always available. There were also kayaks & paddle boards available, but we did not take advantage of them as it was too windy while we were there. Overall a great stay.

Just stayed a few days to check out Placencia. Chabil Mar made a good base to launch from. They had an hourly shuttle into the village, and Lacho, the driver was great at finding you anywhere

A really wonderful hotel, I'm so pleased we came here. When we arrived I was surprised at how wonderful the room was - a big kitchen with loads of appliances, there was even a washer and dryer which was hugely appreciated after several weeks of travelling. There was even coffee and little bottles of rum waiting for us! The pools, the beachfront, the beautiful garden, the lovely staff, everything was wonderful! The only moment we weren't very happy was on the first day when we were woken up at nine by the reception calling to see if we wanted housekeeping - we were exhausted when we arrived and needed to catch up on sleep, so that was frustrating. Then the same day a woman came round to the room to give us a hotel newsletter and walked right into the room when she saw us standing in the kitchen behind the bar (we were in our underwear and it was uncomfortable). We asked them not to call or bring us the 'newsletters' any more and they respected our wishes so it was easily remedied. Would definitely come back.

Place is very peaceful. Even though it was fairly busy it always felt quiet. It is close enough to walk into town but far enough to not deal with the kookiness of town. Staff was amazing. Food was better than most restaurants we went to in town.

Wonderful stay. Basically on-call butler service during daytime hours for food. The staff, especially the bar staff, were friendly and accommodating. Quiet, but still able to have fun activities. Thanks Humberto and Kyle. You made our amazing stay even better. Only downside was the limited parking space.

One of the most amazing places I've ever stayed at. It was quiet clean and super friendly. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. The bed was incredible. The ocean was 30 feet from our door. I would live there if they let me.

5 star service in a beautiful location. Oir room was well appointed. I loved that there was no dining room and they delivered our food where ever we were on the property. Everything felt very private and relaxed. The massage service was amazing.

All around top notch boutique hotel

Our stay at chabil mar was incredible. The resort was immaculate and quiet. It has two beautiful pools and a quaint dock. The beach was kept up very nicely. The resort was maybe a kilometer away from Placencia but they offered a free hourly shuttle and complimentary bikes. We were even able to kayak into town on the free kayaks! The resort might be a bit pricey but for the luxury it was definitely worth it. Excellent place for weddings! They have very big rooms with well appointed kitchens.

My room furniture was too dark, and the curtain did not fully close. The carpet was a hazard. The staff service was excellent. There were too many trees. I felt like I was in the jungle.
