We stumbled upon the Grand Mercure completely by chance just walking in, looking for a spa that wasn't there anymore and ended up falling in love with it instantly. The front desk team was so warm, welcoming, and full of good energy that we decided to spend our last two nights in São Paulo there, and it was one of the best decisions of our trip. The entire atmosphere felt so inviting and comfortable, and the hospitality was next-level. And the restaurant… wow. I don’t know who the chef is, but they put their whole heart (and foot, in the best way) into the food every dish was spectacular. This is the kind of place that makes you feel at home while still feeling like you’re on a special getaway. I’d absolutely come back again without hesitation.

Not impressed. Our room was dirty and the hotel wanted $100 for early check-in even though the rooms were ready. Worse, some friends were charged this fee and others weren’t - super inconsistent and frustrating.

Hotel has good amenities, unfortunately we had a rude lady at check in but ended up getting good help from one of her colleagues. The hotel was very noisy, probably the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Breakfast was good and easy to get around from here.
