Patachocas

Beautiful place with gorgeous gardens and great pool area. Morro de São Paulo is a wonderful island with lots options for all ages! I will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Nicely maintained space. Though the property is beachfront, its a long walk from the area of stay to the beach. Its a bit of a commute to get here from the port. The hotel has buses running, but may not be the most convenient.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, pool, food, everything was amazing. Truly a vacation getaway experience.

Underwhelmed from the moment I arrived.  The photos are 5 times better then the property.  The landscape,  rooms, location  and staff are underwhelming to say the least. When I booked this hotel was twice the price of most of the hotels. I was expecting something luxurious. This hotel isn't luxurious. If you come as a foreign tourist from a developed country you will be disappointed in what I would rate an upscale motel. Not a hotel or resort.  I paid twice the price of the average hotel on the island only to wish I had booked a cheaper one. If you are coming as a couple you will be disappointed. If come looking for fun you will be disappointed. If come looking for a place for kids to run around this is the place. The one thing I will say is if you love kids or have kids this place might fit your needs. There are tons of kids running around and in the pool. The hotel has a lot of kid activities. Other then that's I would suggest any foreign tourist avoid this property. The lawn and grounds aren't particularly beautiful or well landscaped. Dead grass in lots of area and no flowers. Really its just not nice. The beach is nothing spectacular or anything to rave about.  I saw much nicer beaches on the way to the property. The property is isolated and hard to find. It would be nice if they could have sent some pre checkin advice or shuttle info or had a information area at the boat landing.

No internet access (including data usage) for over half the trip although advertised as having wifi coverage

We had a great experience- the property was well equipped for a family. Perfect for a short visit to the island. The room was nicely furnished and clean. We found the staff to be friendly. The grounds are beautiful, as are the views from the beach

The only thing the property had going for it was that it was on the beach The property is very poorly maintained and the staff do not speak English so it was very difficult to communicate

Overall our stay here was good and what we expected. The breakfast was good. The staff were pleasant. The room was cleaned everyday, and was big and spacious. The grounds are lovely and you can see the staff working hard each day to maintain it. Our only gripes were the other guests who seemed to have disrespect for the place, we saw a used nappy just left on a sunbed with a pringles can. Finally the bus whilst ran like clockwork (+5 mins) seemed to be the bus drivers personal friends of the village pick up service. It was a long enough bus ride as it is without the 4-5 extra stops it made along the way throughout the village. Also to add, whilst this property appears to be romantic with its sprawling green property lit up at night I wouldn't say it was a couples hotel. Its more geared towards families with children, with its kids club. It could do with refreshing its board game selection

Absolutely not a 4 star hotel. Terrible road & terrible bus to get to the property. Bathroom floor was disgusting. Pool towels smelled like a dirty mop! Wi-Fi did not work in the room. Despite all that, dinner & breakfast were pretty good. Lots of fun activities for kids.

definitely recommended to disconnect. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle bus every 2 hours to 2nd praia

El sitio está en la mejor playa, muy alejado del centro pero tiene Transfer al pueblo. La habitación es poco acogedora aunque muy grande y limpia. El hotel está en muy buen estado. El desayuno muy abundante y variado pero no de gran calidad.

Um casal de amigos nos sugeriu o Patachocas quando dissemos que pensávamos em ir para Morro de São Paulo. Rasgaram elogios. Ainda assim o hotel superou expectativas. Estamos acostumados a viajar; já fomos ao mediterrâneo, ao caribe, diversas vezes ao nordeste... E tenho tranquilidade em dizer que o Patachocas é uma das melhores estadias que tivemos; local excepcional, a praia em frente ao hotel é uma das melhores da ilha. Restaurante do hotel atende muito bem, fomos nos 3 melhores restaurantes da vila e todos TODOS perdem para o restaurante do hotel. Preços compatíveis com hotelaria turística. Serviço de quarto impecável. Atendentes simpáticos e solícitos. Instalações que servem bem à quem busca conforto. Transfer absurdamente pontual para a villa... Tudo o que queríamos para nossa viagem encontramos no patachocas. Não há uma reclamação que eu possa fazer. Espetacular. Em tempo: há dois restaurantes próximos ao hotel que você DEVE conhecer. Inegociável. Caranguejo da Teresa e Osteria Giardinetto (faça reserva neste último) ... Uma das melhores viagens que já fizemos e olha que nossa sequência era: Jericoacoara, Caribe (San Andrés) e Malta ... Ainda assim, saímos encantados com nossa experiência.

Hotel excelente, atendimento excelente, café da manhã ótimo, estrutura, porém achei que o transporte para o centro poderia ter mais horários e até mais tarde.

Cama velha, controle da televisão com problema, um pé de coco quase caiu na cabeça de um hóspede. Falta de manutenção na área verde

O hotel é excelente! Desde o café da manhã até a cordialidade dos funcionários. A estrutura de praia é maravilhosa, praticamente uma praia particular de mar calmo e águas transparentes. O único porém que achei foi a questão do transfer, costuma ser de hora em hora, mas em alguns horários, ele pula 2h pro próximo transfer e você precisa aguardar todo esse tempo. Sugiro que fosse sempre de hora em hora.
