My son and I stayed at Sonata for 10 days Dec 2024 / Jan 2025. We will certainly go back! What a lovely experience! The room was nice, staff and services were great! Totally recommend :)

Hotel is super nice and clean. Staff is polite and ready to help. Location is awesome, beach is literally across the street. Restaurant has a lot of options and breakfast is just the best I've ever seen in a restaurant.

Extremely disappointed that they did not inform me at all that the swimming pool area would be closed during all of my stay. They did not offer any compensation for this lack of service, I still had to pay the full price. On top of this There was constant renovation noise and the noise insulation of the rooms is inexistent. The room fridge smelled bad, as if someone had peed in it.

Hotel was nice, great service, people were wonderful!

I just have 2 complains the Wi-Fi sistem is very poor And the key for the elevator and room door , need improvement, problem all the time. But I’m was very happy the hotel have a nice view and close to everything. Pleased

Being a V.I.P member I always try and book hotels with bonuses like wary checkin and room upgrade. As I did with this hotel I was told that I would receive an early checkin but 10am and earlier I would be charged money. So I decided to wait in lobby after a 4am flight. All u wanted to do was sleep. I asked if the room is ready why not give now? He (Junior) said because of the breakfast. So as I waited I noticed many people sneaking into the hotel for breakfast of where Junior gave one guest a mask to give to a guy to enter for the breakfast. When I saw this I was upset. So I told Junior and he promptly gave me a room at 8:30am instead of 10am. This is bad customer service. You wanted to charge me a paying guest for 4 nights. The breakfast is good here. And the lady who cleans the room is only person to say hello to you. The reception area is terrible only nice person was the older chubby guy but even he seemed like you were troubling him

Great location. Service was impeccable. I'll leave an extra remark to the attention to details and cleanliness following procedures related to the pandemic: staff was always wearing masks, hand sanitizer was available everywhere, disposable gloves and individually wrapped utensils and glassware for meals. A Plus!

The hotel location is great. 20 mins from Airport. 5 min walk from the beach. Room is clean but a little old. The breakfast is good.

One of the few occasions, when I can share really positive things! I was happy to stay at Sonata. Staff was accommodating and friendly. They appreciated my Portuguese. I booked an airport pickup with them, which was reliable and safe. Early morning check-in was relatively smooth, a bit slow though. I asked for and got a quiet room on the top floor with sea view, no noisy neighbours or anything disturbing. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, nothing fancy, rather basic but served the purpose. I could really rest well for 2 night that I booked, something that rarely happens in a hotel. Breakfast was acceptable, rather basic than anything extraordinary. I came with low expectations. They were met and slightly above. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the location of the hotel, which I knew was great and practical right at Praia de Iracema. I would recommend to stay at Sonata, especially if you don't expect luxury, just a fair, nice and welcome treat and clean place.
