Spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable. More like a 4-star hotel than the advertised 2 stars. Maybe the only weaker point is the location, which is not perfect, but is also not bad either. If I come back to Brunei, I will certainly consider staying there again.

Facility - 8/10. Slightly old and some spots on the carpet but overall, good. Staff - 11/10. Amazing staff. They are the best part of this place. Breakfast - 2/10. limited option. Only omelet available to order. You get water, watermelon juice, 1 type of fruit, cereal +milk, bread, 1 hot main and 1 hot side dish as buffet style. Make sure to go early before 7 if you dont want the left over scrap of hot food. Location - 5/10. Not close to anything touristic or the center. Need to use taxi to get anywhere. But some stores around and everyone knows the building.

Used for a solo-vacation. Not super clean and pretty old, but for a solo, had no issues, was worth the price. Breakfast was served at a place nearby, only 3 types of dishes served. Overall satisfied considering the very low price (below 50 SGD).

This is the first time I've felt misled by a hotels.com rating. The hotel was rated "Exceptional"; it definitely is not. Let's start with the positives. It's very cheap. The staff are kind, well-meaning and helpful. The rooms are very spacious. However the hotel is stuck in the 1970s. Location is in a neighbourhood away from the city centre; you will need to drive to get anywhere (though this is standard for Brunei). One of the previous reviews mentioned the possibility of walking to the water village - well, go look up the reality on an online map. Kettle and cups provided but no coffee/tea. Breakfast is included, but not worth going for it. There's a catering college on the premises. Is that why the room floors smelled of stale frying? Tip: there is plenty of hot water but only if you know that you have to turn on the water heater first! No one mentioned this at checkin.

Very nice hotel for business traveler. Room was good and convenient. Bed was comfy. Having a fridge, kettle and iron and board made my day. Staff very nice and polite. Hotel located above a small mall with a few stores and fast-food restaurants. The hotel is in a small isolated commercial neighborhood and very quiet at night. Room cleanliness was good but quite a few hairs on carpet and few really tiny ants were crawling on the walls and made it to my luggage and computer. Nothing major, it is tropical country after all and these ants are not the biting type that I encountered many times in Southeast Asia. Only other minor issue was that breakfast selection which was very limited (sliced bread and cereals, eggs, couple fruits). Coffee was not included with breakfast and was at extra charge which is a bit odd. Overall, a very good and convenient choice. I would go back, no doubt about that.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days, and I have to say, it was one of the best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and even went above and beyond to provide me with dinner for Ramadan. This was such a blessing and saved me from having to go out and buy dinner. Not only that, but the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you to the staff for making my stay a truly memorable one.
