Large distance between the houses on the lake, loneliness, great nature and friendly staff. Gladly again, clear recommendation!!!

Belle auberge accueillante et chaleureuse. Les chambres sont mal isolées pour le bruit et pourraient bénéficier d'un coup de rénovation. Par contre c'est très tranquille la nuit. Excellent restaurant sur place. Buffet déjeuner à 22$.

The rooms are dated. The front desk staff is not friendly. The attempt to maximize revenues from each customer creates an uncomfortable environment. The view from the rooms is magnificent.

Superbe hôtel! Le personnel est très sympathique. Notre chambre était grande et propre. Beaucoup de choix pour l'intensité de la luminosité. Belle douche spacieuse et configuration de la salle de bain très pratique. Agréable d'avoir accès aux canaux musicaux de Stingray. Seul petit point négatif: les motoneiges en dessous de notre fenêtre de chambre nous ont réveillé tôt.

I love everything about this hotel! The rooms are cute and so clean! The bathrooms are beautiful and modern. The staff were so kind to us and helped us even when we could not speak French. I cannot say this about other places we stayed at in Quebec. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant are absolutely delicious. I hope one day I can visit again. I highly recommend this place for every Canadian and people all around the world. Also, it is a great location near the Fjords provincial park.

We were to spend some pleasure time but there was no much to do in the surrounding. At the hotel, the internet signal was very poor, almost null. The billard and the gym were closed du to Covid, however in others hotels are opened. So we had to stay one night for $224 !!! A real theft

Excellent meals and service (although the coffee wasn’t good). The room was large and the bathroom was immaculate and modern. Great view from the dining room. We enjoyed a delicious supper and filling breakfast there.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location, overlooking the bay. We requested the bay view when we booked the room and that's what we got. Visiting the restaurant was a special pleasure, it has huge windows and a bay view (the breakfasts we had there were nothing special, but they were fine). The air conditioning in the room was not perfect: there was a noisy unit on the wall next to one of the beds, and it turns on and restarts loudly in the middle of the night, so we opted to turn it off completely and just keep the window open hoping for a breeze. Not the best option in the summer. The hotel served us as a base for exploration of the Saguenay Fjord National park which is spread widely over the fjord and La Baie seemed like a convenient enough middle point. Also, the hotel is unique and big on atmosphere, which we value a lot when on vacation. Overall, thumbs up!

Chairs and tables are set out on the front lawn where you can relax with a book and a drink. The scene constantly changes as your eyes drift over the water of the fiord. The expanse is so great that you can watch the wind playing with the water creating myriad patterns. There is usually long branches of mist moving with slow grace over the blue-black water. A truly moving experience.

4 of us stayed at this auberge. We had two rooms, one of ehich had been completely renovated while the other was not. The room renovated was done so very tastefully. Both rooms were very clean. The staff at this auberge were very friendly. We ate in the dining room for breakfast and evening meal. Everything was made on site and quite delicious

Beautiful view from room, dining area. Food is excellent and atmosphere of the Auberge. English speaking is no problem.

The rooms are clean and the bathrooms have been recently updated. The view is nice (though partially obstructed by power lines, this didn't really bother me). The restaurant downstairs seemed very popular with locals and guests alike though we opted to venture out of the hotel for our meal. Staff was great.

Very nice hotel thats sits up on a hill overlooking the river. Great room with a small balcony on river side of building. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Nice rest.,but did not eat here.
