I highly recommend this hotel. It’s very easy to get wherever you need to go. Very clean, beds super comfortable and food was excellent. Only negative was the size of the bathroom but that is not deal breaker, the water pressure was fantastic

Excellent location for easy access to main thoroughfares in South Calgary; close to Heritage Park, Chinook Mall, South Center mall and Rockyview Hospital. Complimentary buffet breakfast is exceptional and onsite bakery is unique feature. 3 dining options in-house, including Peanuts pub that offers daily specials, including 1/2 price wings on Saturdays! Loads of other dining options nearby and Ranchman’s is just across the street. Heated outdoor pool is a treat on cool-weather days as is hot tub, sauna, and well-appointed gym. Rooms are spacious with Keireg coffee makers and refrigerators. Beds are comfortable and pillows are heavenly. Complimentary robes are nice touch in deluxe rooms as well. We will always choose Carriage House for stays in South Calgary…

The service at the restaurant and the pub were excellent. The front desk staff are great to do it. The only downfall was the pool was down for a couple days, which was out of there control,but they had it up and running as soon as possible.

Everything was amazing, I’d say the ONLY issue I found was the lack of AC, we turned the thermostat way down to hopefully get it going but no luck. Ended up opening the window and given how tiny it is, it didn’t do much. Other than that great place!

I liked the pool & hot tub but didn't like the bathrooms. The sink & toilet was too low. It's hard for a senior to get up after sitting on that low toilet.

Service was top notch! Bed comfortable, shower strength was good Food at restaurant delicious and prices more than reasonable Breakfast was really good & seated with waiter (eggs, bacon, sausages, quiche, fruit, yogurt, breads, hash browns, juice & coffee or tea) Only complaint was room was tight. Not a lot of space for luggage for 4 people to share. Bathroom was tiny and again no space to put things, including no hooks for towels. Table was wobbly and toilet seat was great for my 5’1” mom and 4’9” dad but was a real struggle for my 80 year old 6’ dad (which I also impacts his getting up with a wobbly small table at his age). My 10 year old was excited for the pool and hot tub, especially after seeing the water spray upwards (like a fountain), but he couldn’t get the hot tub or water fountain feature to work by the time he went to the pool.

First time staying the hotel and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was large, renovated and super clean with a bright washroom. The free breakfast is a full breakfast buffet unlike most other hotels which was a pleasant surprise and the staff were very friendly and helpful keeping our tea and coffee filled up and even offered a to go coffee when we were done. Check in and check out was super fast and efficient.

Best value in Calgary - outdoor pool and hot tub were clean with lots of chairs and space to relax and get a resort feel in the middle of the city ! I had no clue or preconceived notions about this hotel before check in and I was BLOWN AWAY at how great the staff was -price of room and amenities - definitely will return !!!

We found that the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The washroom was a good size, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The pool had to emptied because it was green but it was a little too chilly for us anyways. They did clean and refill a couple of days later. The buffet breakfast was good with lots of options. The hotel is close to a lot of places. The only things that were not that great is that the walls were thin, we could hear the people beside us and there was no where to sit in the lobby so that my husband could work on his laptop. He prefers the open space to work instead of the room at night as the TV would be on and it is distracting.

We had a wonderful first night in Calgary on the way to Banff. My son loved their prime rib special. It was by far one of the best dinner and breakfast experiences in Canada. The bed was so comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel. Will come back again
