Comfort Inn & Suites

In general property is great .. very quiet hotel consider our room next to the elevator and we didn’t hear any sound throughout the night . However few issues, shower head is horrible , there was hair in the tub when we checked in . The ice machine was broken n garbage inside ( but no sign posted on the machine saying is not working ) . Staffs are friendly . Is a decent hotel .

Check in was fine. Needed a $300 damage deposit which varied from person to person in our group. Some was $100 others $300. Breakfast was awful. Waffle machine didn’t work and was dirty. Staff fairly indifferent. Hot food was cold in the chafing dishes. Not really to par. Ran out of towels for housekeeping - said they would bring more and they didn’t. Not 100% sure if we had queen beds or doubles to be honest…it was quite squishy. Not what we are used to and it was very mediocre compared to what it used to be like. Staff friendiness fluctuated too. Some happy and helpful - others just glared. Not my fav stay.

Was nice, clean and quiet. Due to miscommunication between weekend and weekday staff housekeeping came in to clean after we had paid additionally to keep the room until 3.

One of the highlights for this stay was the serving of vegetables for breakfast, daughter really enjoyed! It is also very close to the performance center, so that is a plus. The service unfortunately was poor and should have been better. I called to extend the stay 1 night, this was told to be done without issue. However, when I arrived and double checked, it was not in the system? The staff at desk offered to add, and confirmed several times added, would only need to come back to reswipe card in three days. When I came back to reswipe card, desk said could not find? On top of this, the day before I asked the front desk to have housekeeping clean the room when leaving at 1000. The lady working the desk asked if the do not disturb sign was hanging, I stated it was not, and was then informed housekeeping would be completed. When we arrived back at 4:30PM the room was not completed, nor did anyone come later that evening. When I spoke to front desk the next morning, the lady argued that it was done, getting the housekeeping book and noting it was signed off at 2:30ish. Although I appreciate that they have a sign off book, the room was clearly not cleaned. I asked for the needed supplies, and left. The following day on checkout and loading the vehicle, my son mentioned there were another family with pictures of their room not cleaned, which did not seem to be satisfactorily handled. Vegetables are great, service was poor.

Very poor experience. A couple of the lights in our room were out. We booked this room specifically to use the pool for a family staycation. There was hockey teams there full of boys which is fine - but very poor supervision. Coaches sat on their phones in the pool area barely looking up once, as the boys broke the slide rules multiple times, as well as filled the jacuzzi to brimming with them all trying to cram in at once. Screaming and out of control as 4-6 of them came down the slide at once. Breakfast was just as bad, so many of them crammed in while supervisors talked amongst themselves and barely supervised. Kids were butting line to stand with their friends, meanwhile my kids were waiting patiently for their turn. The hotel should have done something about the amount of kids in the breakfast room and the way they were acting in the pool. No towels the entire time there in the pool area even though we came back early that next morning.

Room was clean and a good size.

Only issue was the pill was shut down often. Other than that the stay was amazing.

Breakfast closed early and we missed breakfast. We were charged a $300 deposit because we booked through a 3rd party site. Regular deposit is $100.

They had an unexpected deposit of $300 to check in. There were never towels clean and ready. The cards deactivated multiple times. Breakfast and staff were just okay.

The Comfort Inn and Suites is a fantastic place to stay. The location is central to either Edmonton, or into the downtown area of Fort Saskatchewan or beyond. The king suite was comfortable and clean. It was very modern and we enjoyed our time while in the suite. It had separate sitting area, two tvs, excellent wifi, kudos for comfort. The daily breakfast was the usual offering, but were fresh and tasty. And plentiful! (Scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals etc) The staff were courteous, and we always received smiles and greeting. 😊😊

Room was clean and the staff were polite. Only widh the shower had hotter water but otherwise great. sta

Hello. Our stay was for the convenience of being close to a show. Rooms were normal hotel rooms. But very loud. We could hear the people in the next room. Kids, people on a phone. Staff were friendly. We would stay again.
