Excellent place to stay. Receptionist asked why my husband and I were visiting. I explained it was our 28th wedding anniversary. Within 10 minutes of settling into our room, a waiter arrived with a bottle of champagne! What a nice touch to a wonderful stay.

The hotel and staff were great! We traveled in the off season which made it affordable. We did the free walking tour of Old Quebec City booked through the hotel which was great. We later paid for the history of the hotel tour. That was also good. The hotel is close to everything in Old Quebec with lots of dining options surrounding the hotel and in the hotel. It's definitely a soecial experience!

I would like to commend the EXCEPTIONAL and EXCELLENT check in services provided by Alexander. Not only was he pleasant, courteous, and polite but also quite caring in his demeanour. Made every possible arrangement to ensure that my dad celebrated his 80th birthday comfortably and happily.
We were a party of eight including children as young as five years old. Alexander to call those factors into consideration and so both my daughter who was also celebrating her 16th birthday, and my father were equally happy to celebrate their milestone birthdays at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac.

Lobby reaks of air freshner, no furnishings in main lobby. Main entrance closed of due to construction. Only entrance is basement service entrance. Pool facilities are inadequate.

We had such a great time at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Our room was perfect for our family of four, with two double beds that worked really well for my wife and our two young kids. The room itself was gorgeous and super comfortable.
The hotel is just stunning. You really feel like you're staying in a castle, and everything from the lobby to the hallways had this classic, premium feel to it. The staff were all super friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
One of the highlights for our kids was a little scavenger hunt they had set up around the hotel. It was a really fun touch and they loved the prize at the end.
The whole stay was really pleasant and quiet, and honestly this was probably one of the best hotel experiences we've had so far. Would definitely recommend it, especially if you're traveling with kids.
