Good and affordable

The restaurant was closed for 2 days, no room services and no water at the hotel, reception said employees were on strike and they had no one to work. I would like to be contacted As we stayed there for 2 nights and had a terrible experience Negin.milani67@gmail.com

The rooftop pool is what made us book this hotel. It was decent weather but the pool was very cold. they had nothing around to keep it warm. In the middle of June and this place did not know how to keep the hallways at a decent temperature. We had a great time with the room, the vale helped us with the car. the location is in walking distance from anything we needed. but the again, pools and amenities make the difference for us.

Staff strike? No cleaning? Arrived early and the guy says room will be ready as per check in policy? Really? How accommodating! Thankfully the other clerk was more reasonable. Just the road is horribly noisy and thought getting a decent sleep. I’ve stayed at 15 different Hilton Garden Inns, the staff here need some customer service training.

Great option for staying in the city centre

We had to wait in the hallway because our room wasn’t actually when we were told it was. End up in another room. There was a strike so our room wasn’t cleaned.

The room was really nice, clean and quiet.

There was a staff’s strike during our stay, so no room cleaning.

There was a personnel strike in the hotel

Worst stay ever. Pre booked room was not available even though it was guaranteed after 4pm. Room was not serviced one day and when we requested it to be cleaned they said it was not possible as housekeeping had gone home. We were told new towels would be sent up, but several hours later even that was not done. Inconsistent messaging about what is included in breakfast. Late checkout request (for one hour) was refused for no apparent reason, even though i am a Gold member. My bill was incorrect and several requests from management to follow up never materialised. The hotel said they would get in touch via phone, but then I get an email saying that they cannot make international calls, and can I ring them instead!! Not what you expect from an international brand such as the Hilton.

The workforce were on strike, and we got directed to another hotel nearby. Great replacement Hotel, but quite a bummer anyway.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel.

My son attends McGill. So it was easy for him to meet us. The only issue is the restaurant/bar closes at 10 every night. Other than that it’s a perfect place to stay.

It’s a basic hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy.

Liked gym. Breakfast one morning was served by one person at busy time which took longer than expected
