Holiday Inn Express & Suites MONCTON by IHG, an IHG Hotel

We were traveling with a pet. When we went to our room, it smelled of dog urine so we returned to the front desk and asked for a new room. The clerk said we would have to pay a $40 fee to change rooms because we entered the room and it would have to be recleaned. I asked to speak to the manager because why do I have to pay for the room to be recleaned when it obviously was not thoroughly cleaned the first time? All we did was walk in the room & right back out. I agree the room needs to be recleaned but it was not properly cleaned the first time but I should not be responsible for paying for it. The clerk said he called the manager and said it’s the their policy to charge the fee and said there was nothing we could do about it. Holiday Inn Express has lost us as customers. Extremely disappointing and unfair to charge us a fee for their lack of service.

The beds were super comfy and the room had everything that we needed.

Customer service was very poor. TV not working..called customer service…no answer…went at service desk…clerk said he can’t help but will send somebody…nobody came after an hour wait he called me…declined since it was time for bed for my kid.

It was clean and everything was convenient, but the bed sheets on the bed made it very uncomfortable to sleep deeply.

Web site inlcuded bottled water Front desk refused supplying it. Reason why we were told not on web site Only for diamond members

One of the best hotel for our family in Moncton

The air quality in the room felt poor to us. We have allergies. Not sure if it was the perfumes or dogs that irritated us. Everything else was okay.

Nice clean hotel. Loved the filtered water sensor in the lobby. Showers are not made for taller people either haha or easily adjustable... Not pleased with the deposit taking 3-7 business days to be returned!! Especially after being told we'd get it back upon check out! Our hotel stay was paid in advance in full.. very frustrating!

This property was absolutely spotless. There were staff continually cleaning. The staff were all very helpful and you could tell they enjoyed being at work. Their breakfast staff was super helpful and their rooms were spacious. We were pleasantly surprised. It seems that this hotel and 7 others. Including the one that houses Sophia and Spritz are all owned by the same family!! This makes sense as it truly felt as we were staying with family. Outstanding experience.

Little far from Moncton airport but hotel was new and in great shape.
