Their bedroom TVs say their TVs are ready to cast but they actually aren’t. When asked staff, they said they don’t know when TVs will be ready to cast but this feature is not available yet. They should consider taking off those logos, when the feature is not available.

Really nice hotel and rooms

The rooms where clean and comfortable, there where kids running up and down the halls making alot of noise after the 11pm quiet time making it hard to sleep. The pool heater was broken so the pool was really cold. We tried using the hot tub but there was a bunch of kids that came in while me and my wife along with a few other adults where trying to relax in the hot tub, they where spalshing us and jumping in and out off the hot tub. A few of us told the kids to please stop splashing us but they would not listen, and told us off and kept doing it. These kids parents did absolutely nothing, they where sitting in the chairs next to the hot tub watching their kids behave like animals shooting us dirty looks when we told there kids to please behave and stop splashing in the hot tub. The kids also brought candy in to the hot tub so we had a ton of candy wrappers floating around in the hot tub, We finally just gave up and left the hot tub. We did let the front desk know and they apologize. We tried to use the hot tub again the next day but of course the hot tub was out of order. The front desk staff was very friendly especially the lady that worked nights. We where really looking forward to the hot tub, that was the main reason we booked this hotel. I think we will be looking at other hotels if we ever need to spend the night in portage la prairie again. The lady at the front desk did let me know that they will be issuing us some kind of refund through expedia.

The hotel was very clean and accessible. We did early check-in so the process was very quick and easy once we actually arrived at the hotel. The hotel is well equipped. The gym is quite nice for a hotel gym. It includes lots of dumbbells, benches, a good cable machine and some cardio machines. There is also a laundry room on site which is quite convenient. The hotel does have a pool. The heater for the pool was not working during our stay so we could not use it. The hot tub was still working fine so we just used that instead. The breakfast was good with slightly different options every day. It was quite good for a hotel breakfast. The room we had was a little bit cramped for 2 adults and a child. It did include a microwave and mini fridge. The mini fridge's freezer didn't seem to work during or stay. Although the room was a little bit cramped it was clean and modern. We would stay here again for sure, especially if the pool gets fixed!

Beautiful hotel, we arrived during a blizzard and 3 hours past our check in. Our original booking was to be a queen and a pull out sofa but due to late check i assume our booked room was given away and we shared a single bed for the duration. Snow was cleared during the night, and a pile was left behind my car. Good thing i had a shovel or I would have been stuck, how the snow clearer didnt realize with a pile above my bumper i dont know. The snow clearing was a bit choppy and i was stuck twice leaving the parking lot. Unfortunate as we were departing to attend a competition my child ended up being late for as a result. Pool towels were a limited comodity that constantly had to be reminded as a need, the hall to the pool was often a full stretch or puddles as a result. The breakfasts included were absolutely delicious and appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful and would definitely stay here again, hopefully not during a blizzard!

Went mainly for a little vacation with family. Hoping to spend most of the time in the pool area. Called ahead and they said the pool and hot tub where working. When I got there the pool was Ice cold and the hot tub only worked one night and wasn't working the next. Would not recommend

Overall, it was a good experience. Only thing I wanna call out is the front desk staffs were not so friendly. They had no smile on their face, no greetings, no welcoming message! They did their job though. I would expect an warm welcome & friendly gesture at the service desk, which wasn't there. Staffs at the breakfast area were more friendly & cooperative.

The breakfast station was fantastic. Service was very efficient. Really nice location.

Not the fault of the property but the noise from the kids attending the hockey tournament got a bit out of hand. Parents allowing their kids to have a free for all at the breakfast station was obscene. Again not the fault of the property.

New modern clean hotel. Good continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to Stride Place.

In this day and age of technology, how can you book and pay for a specific type of room, and then it's not available when you arrive. the front desk gave us a "UPGRADE" from two queen beds to one. a kitchenette is not what I paid for. We politely got offered the opportunity to book somewhere else. I guess I might have taken the offer if I hadn't already paid Hotels.com... Can't imagine how long it might take to get a refund from that.

Rooms were already heated and ready to go when we arrived. Staff were super friendly and easy to talk to. Property was very neat and well kept.
