Had a great stay for our anniversary. Staff were very accommodating for a last minute booking. Had a couple maintenance issues - staff were very responsive and resolved the issues quickly. Stayed in the new building - rooms were beautiful.

Location was great, and the beach front. Downside: Our room was on the 2nd floor and really close to the bar in the hotel which was loud until about 2am. Would recommend staying on the other side of the hotel if you are there on the weekend.

Liked the lake view. Our room was dated and the bed was not comfortable. Stayed on a Wednesday night and the music and party went until midnight - very noisy.

Waterfront location was great. I chose the West wing due to it being renovated but it was weird that it wasn't attached at least by some sort of pedway. Comfortable bed. Good blackout blinds. Weird set up with bed in center of room and no bedside tables, just a shelf above the bed. Clean and renovated nicely. Very quiet the first night but the second night someone upstairs was walking all over the place in their room and it woke us up at 4 am and they kept going...Breakfast was okay, at least not too expensive and friendly service. Parking an extra 20 dollars a night which I don't recall them mentioning at check in. We were here in low season at the end of May. Would like to see what it is like in the summer. All went smoothly, no major issues. Ate twice at the Hooded Merganser Restaurant. Lovely location on the waterfront but the food was not great...went for ice cream after - walked down the waterfront and that was nice.
