Sandman Signature Calgary Downtown Hotel

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Pool and hot tub were nice. We walked 6 blocks to a certain store for mid afternoon shopping. Walked another 6 blocks in the early evening.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff comfortable rooms and nice pool. Had difficulty keeping the wifi connected. Parking is difficult to access.

The only reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5, is due to my rounding a few city blocks a few times at 10:00 p.m., scratching my head and trying to find the check in portal. Lol. This is no fault of the establishment. There were limousines as well as a few other vehicles parked on the street right there, as well as a few in the pull in. Combined with Saturday evening traffic, it simply made for alot of lights at a speed sufficiently too quick to process it all until the third time around. If I were to stay again it would be easy. If it's your first time going in, just know the hotel is on the NE corner of the block.The drive up check in portal (and entrance to underground parking) is just South on the East side of that NE corner. Stay in your left lane when you're on the East side of the hotel block, and keep an eye left, you'll catch it. That aside, price was decent for downtown Calgary. Hotel was incredibly clean. Service was integrally kind. Room was clean. Bed was either brilliant in the way of comfort OR I was exhausted. I'm going to suggest it was truly the bed. Best sleep in a long time!

I I checked out in the morning of April 15, then I noticed that I forgot my mobile charger in the room, so I called the reception in the afternoon. They told me they would check with found lost office and call me back. I waited late night, no one called me. The next day, I called the reception again, and I was transferred to found lost office. Someone said they would check and let me know. Till today, no any call was given to me. My point is that the hotel doesn’t show any of their respect and responsibility to their customers, but I was very disappointed about this. I don’t think I will never choose this hotel anymore. It’s really terrible!

The location was perfect for what we were looking for, right down town with the downtown right outside. The room was very clean and our floor was very quiet, customer service was great. Only complaints were our room was very warm over night and we couldnt turn down the temperature, we only got one bath towel for 4 people and the hot tub wasnt very hot at all, warm at best

I found that there was no shampoo in the shower.

Thin walls, sofa bed was very uncomfortable but otherwise happy with my stay.

Someone even pulled a fire alarm at 3am worst stay ever

Fantastic staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. We got a queen bed with sofa area and really enjoy relaxing.
