The room was clean. Parking was good. The lady who was working almost all jobs, including reception, and room services was really kind, helpful, and caring. What I did not like, was just the prices in restaurant where we had our breakfast. The staff was really nice, polite, and hard working. But I believe the price was not reasonable for a very simple type of breakfast. Other than that, the hotel itself and the staff are all great.

The newly renovated clean rooms and helpful staff make this a great place to stay. Plus, its central peninsula location offers easy access to the attractions. And the motel restaurant serves delicious breakfast.

Solid stay overall. It is an older building with some of the typical shortcomings that come with age, so do not expect a brand-new 5-star hotel, but it covers the basics well. The room was clean, and the staff was helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant on site is wonderful with great food and an excellent waitress, though hiring another server during busy times would help shorten the waiting time. Also note that breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, so it is not an option if you have to leave early. On the positive side, there is plenty of free parking space. The front desk provides complimentary coffee alongside a water dispenser to fill your water bottles to go. One small practical issue: the AC remote control was difficult to figure out, so providing clear instructions in the room would be a helpful touch. Overall, a good stay as long as your expectations are realistic for an older property.

The people were nice and the location was good. The rooms were basic, but provided what we needed. The walls are very thin and our stay was quite loud, due to movement in Halls and opening and closing doors.

We stayed in the room with the king bed and hot tub attached. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large enough. We noted there were a few things that were outdated and needed fixing like the toilet paper roll and some door hooks and new batteries in the remote. The TV was underwhelming. Did not like that the floor felt damp and the sheets and room overall always felt a little damp. The hot tub was a great feature after hiking, but took away any windows and we had to turn it on ourselves to heat up. The lights around the hot tub are too bright and the room needs blackout blinds as they’re on an automated system and were on most of the night. Otherwise, the ladies working there were lovely and helpful and it was a great location to be able to tour and see things in Bonavista, Elliston, and Port Rexton.

This property was convenient on the main road. It is very dated but very clean. They provided everything we needed. The rooms have an iron, ironing board, small coffee/tea maker, air conditioning and cable t.v. There's a restaurant in the hotel which provided adequate food. Nothing too fancy, but it filled the hole. The service staff were so sweet and efficient. It was a good place to stop on our trip.
