My son and I grabbed this hotel rather last minute for a wedding we were attending in OLDS. We had no expectations as we knew it was an old hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The A/C worked well (but was very difficult to reach), we managed. I called the desk as we couldn’t get the tv to work. The manager came right away and got it working for us. We both slept well in our own beds. Breakfast was offered but we didn’t go for it before checking out. It was $104 total and that was great for us so we wouldn’t need to drive back to Calgary that night. But… we called an uber and the app said a car would come in 10 minutes then it just kept spinning so we couldn’t confirm the ride. I decided to call a taxi and he told us that olds doesn’t have any uber drivers! The taxi to the wedding venue cost us $27 which we found very high priced for a short ride. He also told us that after 11 pm the taxi rates go up to $35! Fortunately we were able to catch a ride back with friends.

Room was clean, staff was nice and helped us get a blow dryer etc when there wasn't one in the room. AC was nice. Breakfast was nonexistent, so don't plan for that unless you want just a muffin and cereal

Room was quite warm when I walked in as thermostat was turned right up. After I turned it down it was fine. Overall a decent place to stay for the price.

Air con cut it and out Towel bar missing except for bracket, window didn't lock, breakfast was minimal and one had to ask daily for replenishment daily, even if you were the first one to eat , some screens were totally ripped, my friends room had a hole punched in the wall When tried to book on phone was told by A very rude female staff , that they were booked when there were 3 available on line

The stay was decent overall. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy outside during our stay, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. The kitchenette utensils were dirty, and the sink had an unpleasant odor. Opening the cabinets also released a strong musty smell, as if they hadn't been aired out or cleaned in a long time. But overall, for a night stay and the price. It’s decent.

A/C filter needed changing.it was awfully full of stuff. Some ledges needed dusting and roof tiles in bathroom needed replacing. The rest of the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

My room was dirty when I went into it. They had to call housekeeping to come back and clean it and I had to wait. Booked months in advance, I would think that some kind of check and balance system to make sure rooms are ready would be in place. The place is decently clean and not terrible, but certainly dated. You’re getting exactly what you pay for.

I have stayed at this motel multiple times and I would always be happy to rebook. Rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. The motel is at a nice location for getting around town either on foot or via car/truck. Generally, the breakfast is wanting, but with the price of the room, it certainly is not the end of the world and there are many places to eat nearby and that is really the only criticism I have.

I've been coming to this hotel for years, and I believe it's now under new management. They need to renovate and maintain some things. We stayed on two separate occasions, and the first time I informed the manager that the bathroom and shower faucets were leaking. The second time we stayed, the leaks still hadn't been fixed. Also, the electrical outlets are old and don't work if you want to charge your cell phone. I think these are the kinds of details they should address for proper maintenance.
