The hotel is in a great location. A short walk down Nanjing Road to the Bund. Lots to see in the area and nothing is really far away by taxi/Didi. The food choices for breakfast and dinner were extensive. Great gym, steam room, and pool. The staff were really helpful. If you don’t speak Mandarin then just take your time explaining what you need. My room was compact but the view was amazing, and the bed was comfortable and spacious.

We had a fantastic stay! Great location, great facilities and all the staff were incredibly friendly special thanks to staff name QUALIN !!! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel and I know where we will be staying next time when we travel Shanghai again!

Location is good. Steps away from Nanjing Road shopping street. However, the lobby is forever congested. It usually took us quite a bit of time for the DiDi to get in and out of the lobby area due to the congestion.
Another down side is the layout of the room. The sink, WC and bathroom are all seperated. There is no privacy as you would need to come out after using the WC to use the sink to wash your hands. Then back into another room (bathroom) to take a shower. After shower, you would have to get dressed in the wet environment.
It was quite inconvenient and there was no privacy.
I stayed with my Dad in the room. I had to hang around at the lobby for a while in order to let him have the privacy to use the WC/bathroom.

The location of Conrad Shanghai is excellent—very convenient with shops nearby. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Check-in was delayed with poor communication, and I was wrongly told I hadn't paid. Despite advance notice, my back-to-back bookings were mishandled, and my daughter’s name was misspelled. The room wasn’t very clean, with mold in the bathroom and no place to hang clothes. Service and cleanliness fell short of what I expect from a Conrad property. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.

Really poor service especially room service and food quality not great either.
No one answers the phone for room service so had to go down to reception and wait as staff numbers are not enough, just to order some food. In room ordering did not work either. Really not good enough standard for this hotel

The hotel location is excellent, right next to the bust Nanjing Road for shopping and dining, and sightseeing. The room we had had a fantastic view and was large and clean. I like the Japanese style toilets. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of options. Special thanks to Ivy, Yebby, and Diana for their fantastic service.

Despite being a five-star hotel, the spa experience was far from it. I booked the 250-minute package for $550, expecting top-tier service—but it was a complete disappointment. The massage was poorly done, and the masseuse kept interrupting every few minutes to push for extra services. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into a stressful one. Love the location - about 7 mins walk away from People’s Square exit 14, and just beside Nanjing Shopping Street which is about 20 min walk to The Bund. Hotel is clean and well maintained throughout our 1 week stay. Will recommend to others!
